ELLIS COUNTY, TEXAS: Shamaiya Hall, a 25-year-old mother of five young children, has been taken into custody for allegedly stabbing her children and brutally killing three of them. The murders came to light when her home in Texas was visited by a child protection worker.

Shamaiya Hall was arrested from her home in Italy, Texas, after all five of her children who were all elementary school age were found stabbed and left with knife wounds. Three of her children were found dead while the two surviving children were immediately shifted to a hospital by a helicopter. Suspecting unsupervised visitations at the Texas home, Hall hurting her children was discovered after the CPS officer made a surprise visit. Following the children being removed from Hall's care, another relative became their guardian, reported WFAA.
