Is sex off-limits for Jacob Harder and Haley Harris? Here's why the 'MAFS' couple have a 'no spooning' rule
With every season of 'Married at First Sight', there is always one underdog couple that you want to root for but aren't quite sure about where they stand or if they'll even make it through.
Jacob Harder and Haley Harris have not had it easy. While the pair seemed to get along fairly well initially, things quickly went south for the couple. Although they've been trying their best to mend their relationship, there clearly seems to be more than one roadblock along the way.

Harder and Harris consummated their marriage early on in the season and for the most part, their relationship seemed to be moving along well enough — until it wasn't. To recap what went wrong between the two, they both seemed to struggle to communicate. Harder jumped into the relationship treating it like a marriage, but Harris seemed wary about opening up, seeing that she hadn't been in a relationship for close to seven years at that point.
Matters between the two only went from bad to worse on their honeymoon, when Harris mentioned that she's stepping out for a ladies' night, only for it to be turned into a couples evening, minus Harder. Harder, who saw the couples hanging out without him was visibly upset and confronted Harris. The matter only worsened when she chooses not to sit with him on their flight home.
Once back in Atlanta, the two got into a massive argument, where Harder accused Harris of possibly cheating or being involved with an ex. He did apologize for his actions and the two of them addressed their issues while talking to Pastor Cal Roberson. Pastor Cal pointed out that Harris had no issue greeting him so what was the issue behind her being affectionate towards her husband?
Harris brought to light that she's still coping with being in a relationship, moreover a marriage, and that she did need time to adjust to it. Harder was willing to give her that space and for the most part, they seem to be trying to make it work. Fans even saw them host a dinner for the other couples and step out on a lunch date (Harder even wore one of the shirts Harris got him).
But now it looks like they are addressing the elephant in the bedroom — their intimacy issues. With a focus on their communication, Harris and Harder have set a no sex, no spooning rule in bed. They even went as far as to fist bump each other goodnight. Will this help them fix their intimacy issue? Looks like we'll have to wait and see.
