However, it's been asserted that before being killed, Mogen and Goncalves spent the evening at the Corner Club in Moscow, a dive bar popular among college students. Around 1.30 am, they were seen on camera leaving Grub Wandering Kitchen with a box of carbonara pasta. The first victims the murderer stabbed to death were Goncalves and Mogen, who had been best friends forever, a source revealed. "Number 1, they told us (sources) that the victims, Kaylee, Madison Mogan, were killed first," reported News Nation anchor Banfield.

About suspect Bryan Kohberger

The 28-year-old suspect, Bryan Kohberger, was detained on December 30 at his parents' home in Pennsylvania and was later charged with the murders of four University of Idaho students. Kohberger has previously stated through a lawyer that he intends to contest the charges, even though he has not yet been found guilty and is currently in custody. Kohberger is charged with leaving a key piece of evidence at the crime scene, the "tan leather knife sheath," which police discovered close to Mogen's body, despite his meticulous planning, as per an affidavit made public, as reported by Independent.
