Chelsea Lazakani is the Oppenheim Group's newest member, and she has forged a strong friendship with Christine Quinn. She is the most recent addition to Netflix's blockbuster reality show 'Selling Sunset'.

Season five of 'Selling Sunset' features several new characters as the Oppenheim Group is revamped. The tension from the Season 4 finale carries on. Christine Quinn was previously estranged from her Oppenheim Group coworkers, and this cycle continues in season 5. Christine is compelled to seek solace from outside sources now that she has severed ties with Emma Hernan, Chrishell Stause, and Mary Fitzgerald. Chelsea Lazkani, a newbie, becomes her buddy. In the most recent season, Chelsea was not hesitant to immerse herself in the drama at the Oppenheim Group.

The British agent, who is originally from London, wowed the other real estate stars with her excitement and knowledge. She had a fondness for Christine Quinn, which caused some friction among the rest of the crowd. Despite this, she did not let the controversy get in the way of charming the Oppenheim bosses. The 29-year-old reality personality attended the University of Buckingham. She also holds a master's degree in oil and gas economics from the University of Dundee. She formerly worked as a business consultant before becoming a real estate agent in 2017. Her father is an architect, therefore, she has always been acquainted with the world of real estate development. Chelsea is married to Jeff, and the couple has two children, Melia and Maddox. She found her sweetheart while on vacation in Los Angeles in 2015, and she chose to make the beautiful city her home.

She struck up a conversation with Christine during a property showing, and they quickly realized they had a great deal in common. Chelsea stated that she always gets what she wants, and her perseverance is evident in her thriving business. Chelsea appeared to be a much-needed ally for Christine from their initial meeting, with the duo observed bonding while labeling everyone else "peasants."

As Chelsea prepares to return to work following maternity leave, she discusses with Christine her desire to place her real estate license with a reputable and well-established firm such as the Oppenheim Group. Christine, who described Chelsea as a "breath of fresh air" and believes she has discovered her "real estate soulmate," intends to assist her in setting up a meeting with Jason. Jason and Chelsea have a history; he previously sold a property to her husband Jeff. That process included seeing Kanye West's house, to which Jeff's mother said, “It looks like a lonely narcissist lives here.” If Chelsea wants a seat at the office, Jason asked her to bring in a listing. Jason is intrigued by Chelsea's expertise in Manhattan Beach. Jason works on the West Side, but Chelsea's territory is more like Manhattan Beach/South Bay, which might benefit both parties. Her “call it like it is” attitude, on the other hand, will appeal to fans of 'Selling Sunset'. Chelsea's willingness to befriend everyone at The Oppenheim Group adds to the season 5 turmoil.

On a playdate with their kids, Christine tells Chelsea about her return to the job and how she expected the females to "have a heart and dignity" but instead got ghosted. Christine feels that she and Chelsea are on the same level when it comes to loyalty after their conversation, and she invites her to meet Mary as they work together on the next property sale. The two plan to host a broker's event-themed "Caviar and Couture" and introduce Chelsea to the rest of the team, who have expressed reservations about Lazkani's joining. As Christine takes Chelsea to her designers, "the blonde and black barbie" glam up for the broker's event.

Chelsea eventually gets to meet everyone from the office at the party. She presents herself to Mary, who is impressed by her personality. The other girls think she's "sweet with a ton of energy", but they're suspicious of her close relationship with Christine. Following a drama that resulted in Christine sobbing and leaving the room, Chelsea checks in on her and accuses the rest of the girls of bullying. Christine felt very appreciated in the company of Chelsea, whom she describes as having "more than three brain cells" and someone who "gets her joke." Chelsea later inquires about the open drama with the girls at Chrishell's staging, accusing everyone of being unprofessional.

So how strong is the bond between Christine and Chelsea?

Even though we witness Chelsea sticking up for Christine on several occasions and having her back both in front of and behind the curtains, she claims to be an "independent party" who does not want to be shot down because of "guilty by association." Chelsea subsequently expresses her gratitude to Christine for opening doors for her at the Oppenheim Group, but she isn't trying to be an idiot with her career. "If Christine's a sinking ship, I'm not gonna sink with her," the realtor makes it clear.

But let's be clear about it: 'Selling Sunset' is still a "soft spot" show. While we can understand how trashy this reality series is, it's too impossible to overlook. 'Selling Sunset' Season 5 premieres on Friday, April 22, 2022, on Netflix.
