'Selling Sunset' Season 7: Chelsea Lazkani's biggest listing sells for astonishing price after three whopping offers in two weeks
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: 'Selling Sunset' Season 7 recently dropped exciting new episodes on Netflix and Chelsea Lazkani has already closed her biggest deal so far. In the latest season, Chelsea's Mulholland Drive listing was originally priced at $9,995,000.
The Mulholland property featured six beds, nine bathrooms, two oversized primary suites on one acre and 20 car parking spaces spread over 10,847 sq ft. The realtor received amazing offers for her listing of almost $10 million.
Chelsea revealed that she ended up getting three competitive offers within just two weeks. One of the offers was all cash and no contingencies.
Chelsea's Mulholland Drive, Beverly Hills listing sold for $10,050,000. She was excited about her listing and noted, "Jason has given me this brilliant listing in the Mulholland Corridor. It's one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Beverly Hills."
She added, "You get tons of land and it's only ten minutes away from Rodeo Drive. The fact that Jason trusts me with this listing is huge. Not only did he give me the bigger listing but I had mine going before Bre's. I win."
Nicole Young claims Chelsea Lazkani's listing was not 'turnkey'
In 'Selling Sunset' Season 7 Episode 6, Chrishell Stause, Amanza Smith and Nicole Young had a tour of Chelsea Lazkani's listing. Nicole was there with her clients who could potentially have been interested in the listing.
However, Nicole claimed the property was not 'turnkey' enough. When Chelsea asked the real estate agent if any of her clients were interested in the listing, Nicole said, "Possibly. They are looking for something a little more done but just turnkey."
Nicole's statement left everyone stunned and Chelsea clapped back at her, declaring, "I don't know the definition of turnkey. Maybe people have higher standards than me, 'cause I would turn the key, take off my shoes, and get in the hot tub."
Nicole explained, "Sometimes turnkey people want new build but I think just changing the floors." She then clarified that she was talking about the upstairs floor and noted, "I think if they are looking for new build this wouldn't be their aesthetic."
However, Chrishell called out Nicole in the confessional, where she said, "It's a pretty bold move to trash-talk a property to the agent's face, especially when you're wrong. But I can't say I'm surprised. Nicole's always trying to one-up us every chance she does."
How much commission did Chelsea Lazkani get for her biggest listing?
Chelsea Lazkani was expected to get a $299,850 commission. However, the real estate agent was able to sell the listing at a higher price than what she had listed, which profited her with a commission of $301,500.
Chelsea admitted the struggle to sell the property, noting that the market has drastically changed and "with that you have to be more creative as an agent for your sellers to see offers they wanna see."
She added, "You can't just rely on the MLS. We have to get creative with marketing, contingencies, appraisal, funds, everything that makes a deal a strong deal and it's really difficult but I'm having a good turnout today."
Chelsea further admitted, "I am working my butt off showing it to everybody that steps in and I'm really hoping we go into multiples."
