She is devastated to learn that her young almost-lover has died, but she must hide her grief from her husband. The woman doubts her husband Peter either involved in or solely responsible for his death. However, when she delves further, she discovers that she was not the only probable lover of the deceased young man, and the number of suspects in her tiny town expands.
