It is a pity the Seattle Mariners have found themselves in a form slump that they are desperately looking to claw out of. Their last five games have seen them being handed defeats and now as they gear up for a four-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday, August 17, they will be looking to put some points on the table.

The Dodgers on the other hand will look to extend their winning streak after their comprehensive win against the Los Angeles Angels. Here's everything you need to know ahead of the game:

Time

The game is scheduled to begin at 9.40 pm ET on Monday, August 17.

Venue

The two teams will face-off at the Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles.

Where to watch

The tussle can be caught live on Root Sports Northwest (ROOTNW) and SportsNet LA. Fans can also listen to the game on 710 ESPN, Mariners Radio Network, AM 570 LA Sports and KTNQ 1020.

How to live stream

Fans can catch the game on MLB TV as well as the My Stream App. MLB.TV is still the most preferred app as it comes with a slashed price of $59.99 keeping in mind the shortened season. A complete subscription provides viewers with access to the full regular season, the playoffs and the World Series. Other options that viewers can look for is YouTube TV that gives access to ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, FS1, MLB Network and TBS at $64.99. Hulu and fuboTV are some similar options available.

Pre-buzz around the game

The Mariners have come under heavy criticism for their poor offense. Their only consolation comes in the form of Kyle Lewis with a .316 batting average and four home runs to his credit. Their 22 games have yielded just seven wins. At the other end, the Dodgers have gone from strength-to-strength and are actually one of the sides with a stellar offense record. Mookie Betts has been their rising star with a .309 batting average, 8 home runs, and 18 RBI.

Who will win?

Quite obviously, the Dodgers come in as favorites. With recent wins, they will be on the confident side and will look to capitalize on the Mariners' slump both with bat and ball.
