Erica Washington and Kendal Kirkland's Relationship Timeline: 'Temptation Island' stars go from love to 'tears'
Fans of 'Temptation Island' will soon be introduced to 24-year-old Erica Washington and 26-year-old Kendal Kirkland. Erica and Kendal have been dating for two and a half years and while that has proved to be long enough for Erica to realize that Kendal is the man for her, Kendal still isn't quite sure if Erica is 'The One'.
One of the main issues in the relationship is that Kendal, a successful business owner is unsure that Erica, a personal assistant by profession can keep up with him professionally. That's got to sting! But strangely in spite of this Erica still seems to want to take the relationship ahead.

So why Temptation Island?
Erica and Kendal sound like they already have enough issues in their relationship without bringing 'Temptation Island' into the mix. However, Erica hopes that being on the Island will help Kendal realize the grass is not always greener on the other side and therefore get him to pop the question. For Kendal it's a chance to see if there is a woman out there who will match his high expectations since Erica's lack of drive and ambition seems to be his main issue.
Are Erica and Kendal still together after the Island?
So has being on the Island helped to soothe the doubts that Kendal in particular had? Was he finally able to appreciate Erica in the way she wanted? Well, Kendal at any rate seems in a super excited frame of mind about their appearance on the show.
However, a recent post from Kendal saying, "You have to be at peace with the fact that you're not for everybody'' doesn't sound too encouraging with regards to his relationship status with Erica. We're not sure if he's referring to himself or Erica or if it is in fact a generic tweet but it's not the kind of post a loved up guy makes in our opinion.
Kendal's post combined with Erica's recent post where she seems to be in need of some liquid courage as the premiere of 'Temptation Island' draws closer makes us think that all is not well.
"TEQUILA AND TEARS BABY" said one of Erica's Followers on Instagram, to which Erica responded "tequila and tears all season 3 🥴🥴🥴😂"
But Erica is not just playing the tears and tequila card. She also made what seemed like a pointed post.
So just who can't handle her personality remains to be seen. But we think this post has Kendal written all over it.
Tequila and tears, pointed posts from both parties, now if that doesn't sound like a love story gone awry we don't know what does.Well we can't say for certain how things panned out between Erica and Kendal on the show (where would be the fun in that?) but Kendal does seem to have come out of 'Temptation Island' Season 3 with some new relationships. Kendal seems to have at least bonded with the other guys on the show.
So where does this leave Erica and Kendal? Well, our intuition seems to tell us that this couple had a whole host of issues right off the bat and we can't quite see how 'Temptation Island' could have improved the skewed power dynamics.
