President Donald Trump is not happy with Fox News, his longtime loyalist channel. On November 12, Trump launched a series of attacks against Fox News claiming that its daytime ratings have collapsed and hinting that it no more acted as its loyalist in the November 3 elections.

Trump wrote against Fox in his tweet, “Fox News daytime ratings have completely collapsed. Weekend daytime even WORSE. Very sad to watch this happen, but they forgot what made them successful, what got them there. They forgot the Golden Goose. The biggest difference between the 2016 Election, and 2020, was Fox News!” After Trump reportedly referred to himself as the 'golden goose’, his supporters tweeted that they are boycotting Fox News or switching to rival Newsmax, which is partly owned by Trump's Mar-a-Lago friend Chris Ruddy, and One America News.

Trump also used a tweet to indicate to his loyal Fox hosts Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham that they should quit “while there is time”. The tweet that he retweeted read, “I’ve been a loyal FOX viewer for many years, until now. Tucker, Hannity and Laura should leave while they can. FOX is pandering to left now and it’s obvious.”

Trump was infuriated over Fox’s coverage of elections in 2020 where it called Arizona for Democratic rival Joe Biden on election night. Now as Trump has shown a disdain for the channel, reports are emerging, saying Trump aims to open a new channel to give competition to Fox. “He plans to wreck Fox. No doubt about it,' a source said to Axios.

Axios' report says Trump's digital media channel that would stream online would be cost-effective and quick to start. Now as such reports surface of Trump's channel, here’s a list of people who can purportedly join his channel give their leanings to the GOP and loyalist stance towards the sitting President.

Sean Hannity
Sean Patrick Hannity is a talk show host and conservative political commentator known for his show, ‘The Sean Hannity Show’. A New York Times profile of Hannity says before Trump’s 2016 election win he was in trouble and was just “churning out bland, predictable screeds against former President Barack Obama.” However, he sensed the chance to shine in the Trump era post-2016 run and has since supported the sitting POTUS by “stoking fears of rigged elections, violent immigrants and murderous Democrats, and pitching Trump as the panacea.”

In recent elections, Hannity has proclaimed without evidence– that “every American should be angry, outraged and worried and concerned about what happened in the election and the lead up to the election”. He was referring to the election results that gave Biden the popular vote and made Trump lose.

Laura Anne Ingraham
Laura is an American conservative television host who joined Fox in October 2017. She became the host of a new Fox News Channel program, ‘The Ingraham Angle’. She is considered a “staunchly pro-Trump commentator” by CNN. In 2018 she sought to minimize controversy around Trump's “zero tolerance” policy towards migrants entering US illegally. She said that detention centers where children who have been separated from their migrant parents are like “summer camps.

She has even gone on record to say those who are in favor of immigration reform want “millions upon millions of new workers to come in to displace those already beleaguered American workers” who are struggling in the economy. Trump has mentioned in a June 2019 interview with Ingraham that he had delayed his participation in the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings as he wanted to sit with her for an interview. "These people are so amazing, and what they don't realize is that I'm holding them up because of this interview, but that's because it's you."

Jeanine Pirro
Jeanine Ferris Pirro is a conservative television host, author, prosecutor and politician. She is the host of Fox’s ‘Justice with Judge Jeanine’. Pirro penned a book in 2018 named ‘Liars, Leakers, and Liberals: The Case Against the Anti-Trump Conspiracy’ that takes a pro-Trump stance by mentioning “liberal sabotage”. Her book’s bio on Amazon states, “President Trump continues to fight every day to keep his promise to Make America Great Again. But there are dark forces that seek to obstruct and undermine the president and reverse the results of the 2016 presidential election. They are part of a wide-ranging conspiracy that would seem incredible if it weren't being perpetrated openly.”

In her political career, Pirro sought the Republican nomination for United States Senate to run against Hillary Clinton in 2006, however she dropped to accept the nomination for New York Attorney General, which she did not win. The multifaceted personality is also the host of Fox News' ‘Justice with Judge Jeanine’. However, her show was canceled on November 7, 2020 over an alleged argument between Pirro and the network regarding Trump's claims of election fraud. She made a “very staunch defense of President Trump and wanted to expose the vote fraud” that took place in the election, a report said. However, Fox decided to extended coverage of Democrat challenger Joe Biden's acceptance speech after the elections.

Marc Siegel
Marc Siegel is a physician, Professor of Medicine at the NYU Langone Medical Center, author and contributor to Fox News. On March 4, 2020, Siegel featured on former Trump administration official Sebastian Gorka’s radio program and even praised Trump for his handling of Covid-19. In July 2020, Siegel interviewed Trump on Fox News regarding the result of his recent cognitive test in which Trump said the test was difficult in general but “easy” for him.

Tucker Carlson
The list won’t be complete without mentioning Tucker Carlson. He is a conservative television presenter, political commentator, author, and host of political talk show Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News. The host is considered as an advocate of Trump and was described as "highest-profile proponent of Trumpism — a blend of anti-immigrant nationalism, economic populism and America First isolationism that he articulates unapologetically and with some snark. At the same time, he's shown a rare willingness among Republicans to bluntly criticize Trump when he believes the president is straying from that ideology."

In May 2019, Carlson defended Trump’s decision to place tariffs on Mexico unless the state stopped illegal immigration to the United States. "When the United States is attacked by a hostile foreign power it must strike back, and make no mistake Mexico is a hostile foreign power," Carlson said backing POTUS. More recently after the elections of November 3, Tucker Carlson stood by Trump's unproven claims of voter fraud but also admitted that it is not “enough to alter the election result”.

These are mere speculations of who can join Trump's media venture, if he starts one.
