The 2020 US presidential election is just around the corner and in a bid to encourage Americans to vote in the upcoming elections by making the right choice, Samantha Marika, a social media personality and political commentator spoke about how people are being “manipulated to hate” President Donald Trump in her video. The nearly four-minute-long video has gone viral on social media, grabbing many eyeballs. The video also caught the President’s attention, who shared it on his Twitter handle. Trump posted the video on the micro-blogging website with a caption that read, “Thank You, Samantha. A Star Is Born.”

The video has garnered over 1.6 million views. It has accumulated nearly 65000 likes and has been retweeted over 18000 times. Many users flooded the comments section with their thoughts on the clip in which Marika speaks about how voting out Trump could be one of the worst things to do. She also claims at the very beginning of the video that she has only stated facts.

One user tweeted, “My, my, my......funny how there are soooooo many Black folks lined up to see someone who is so RACIST! WHY would they do that.” Another one wrote, “Trump knew how dangerous this virus is but decided to side against us to win re-election. He loves to incite panic when convenient like demonizing immigrants. This is un-American and inhumane. He doesn’t deserve to be president for 4 more seconds as he’s betrayed the oath of office.”

Another one, echoing similar sentiments wrote, “200K people died in 6 months. That tells you everything you need to know about Donald Trump’s incompetence and negligence in his response to #coronavirus. #TrumpKnew #TrumpTapes.” One person tweeted, “I hope they save Trump's brain. Imagine the advances in dementia research that will be gained.”

“The big difference between Trump and Biden: Trump doesn’t want us to believe our ancestors, the writers, scientists, his voice, and only believe his lies. Biden wants us to believe in our religion, trust our science, trust our writers, and then believe him,” another user tweeted. One user pointed out the number of issues being faced by the people of America under the Trump administration. “Over 180k dead due to Trump (admittedly) downplaying a deadly pandemic. Its like genocide. Division, anger and fighting fueled by Trump himself. The environment is worse off White supremacy is on the rise We're the laughing stock of the world,” the user tweeted.

Another one wrote, “Samantha, you obviously don't understand that Trump can't even force himself to say... BLACK LIVES MATTER.” Another person tweeted, “He mocked our veterans. He mocked soldiers w/TBI's caused by his bruised ego. He handed the Kurds over for slaughter to secure trump tower Istanbul. He lied about the #trumpVIRUS which has resulted in the death of thousands. He sabotaged the ACA from day one. He is defunding SS.”

In her four-minute-long video, Marika says “Democrats and swampy Republicans have been saying that Donald Trump is going to destroy America, that Donald Trump is a racist and a bigot that Trump supporters are evil and white supremacists where is it at where are all the things that they said was going to happen under the Trump administration. They said women were going to lose rights, gays would no longer be able to get married and blacks were going to be re-shackled, where is it at.”

“The truth is everything they said was going to happen under the Trump administration was lies it was never going to happen they just wanted to fill you up with fear so that you wouldn't vote for Donald Trump. so that you would hate Donald Trump and so that you would blame the destruction of America on Donald Trump,” she added. She also went on to say that they “hate” Trump so much because they “cannot control him and that terrifies them and so they know that they can't control him so they turned around and tried to control us.”

She also added how mainstream media has a huge role to play in how Trump’s image is portrayed. “They made people believe that Donald Trump is evil and disgusting and they used mainstream media they gave out sound bites to fit their agenda, yes let's chop it up perfect makes it sound like he's racist. I am sure most of you guys never even listened to a full Donald Trump speech,” she said. Marika went on to say that the upcoming elections are very important because “this election stands for freedom versus control. If we do not vote Donald Trump back into office. It solidifies to them that they are able to control us.” She concluded her video by asking a question, “For this election do you want to be controlled or do you want to be free?”

She later thanked the President for sharing her video on his Twitter handle. Marika posted a screenshot of Trump's tweet on her Instagram and captioned it, "Just when you thought 2020 couldn’t get any more wild...the President of the United States retweets your video...Wow, thank you @realdonaldtrump And thank you to everyone who continues to support me, y’all are awesome.
