The reality competition show 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars' is a spin-off of the original RuPaul's Drag Race. The show debuted on Logo TV on October 22, 2012, before moving to VH1. On February 24, 2021, Paramount+ confirmed through Twitter that the series' sixth season will be transferred to the streaming service. The upcoming season 7 will also be broadcast on Paramount+.

The show follows RuPaul as she invites prior queens who have had the most successful careers after leaving the show. RuPaul serves as host, mentor, and chief judge for this series, as participants face new challenges each week, much like the original show. Each season mixes and matches new formats. For the debut season, the queens competed in two-person teams, each paired with another All-Star. From the second season onward, the participants would choose who would be eliminated.
