Beatrice stunned in a vintage dress designed by Norman Hartnell and wore the Queen Mary Fringe tiara. The Royal Family even shared a tweet congratulating the couple on their wedding. In the picture shared on the official website, Beatrice and Mozzi are seen posing alongside Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. People were quick to take to Twitter to react to the Princess’s secret wedding. A significant number of them are seen discussing how reasonable the wedding was, by including minimal guests, as little as just 20. “The #PrincessBeatrice #BeatriceandEdo #Beatrice wedding seems just right... in a chapel... no big hullabaloo... and few know who they might be,” expressed one user.
And some couldn’t help but wonder where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were following the Sussexes’ decision to exit from their royal roles. “Why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Weren't at Princess Beatrice's Royal Wedding. They are nothing but trouble makers” wrote one user. While another noted that Meghal would be upset over the fact that Queen Elizabeth lent her personal possessions to her granddaughter Beatrice. One tweeted, “The fact that the Queen lent out her personal items to Princess Beatrice and NOT to Me-Gain Markle is awesome. Meghan must be just livid! WTG your majesty.”
Some praised Beatrice's special relationship with the Queen on seeing the duo together during the ceremony. “Princess Beatrice may have just had the smallest royal wedding but it looks like the most enchanting and fairy tale ceremony. I feel the tiara and dress show a special relationship with her beautiful grandmother.” tweeted one Internet user. A few of them on Twitter are seen discussing Beatrice’s title following the wedding. “Oh gosh. Princess Beatrice married Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. If she follows the patriarchal model & uses his last name, she is now Bea Mozzi.” wrote one.
