'Rowdy' Roddy Piper rose to fame in the 1980s as an energetic villain of the WWE circuit. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of fame in 2005. Much before entering the world of fame and glamor, Piper found the love of his life Kitty and tied the knot in 1982. The couple remained together till Piper's death on July 30, 2015, due to a heart attack.

Piper was born Roderick George Toombs on April 17, 1954, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The son of a police officer who was employed for the railroad, Piper endured a nomadic childhood that carried him to homes in unfamiliar places, including a Native American reservation and often forced him to use his fists against hostile locals.
Roddy's Fandom bio notes that he was a one-man woman and that he refused to take his wedding ring off when he wrestled. Piper and Kitty had four kids together, named Ariel Teal Toombs, Colton Baird Toombs, Anastacia Shea Toombs and Falon Danika Toombs. Two of the Hall of Famer's children, Colt and Teal, have followed their father's footsteps into the pro-wrestling ring. It was reported that after Piper's death, his wife started volunteering work in Chico, California at a 10K with her daughter.
In 2013, Roddy Piper and his family appeared on ABC's 'Celebrity Wife Swap'. In the show, wrestling legends Ric Flair and Roddy Piper traded homes and their girlfriend/wife. During the show it was seen that Kitty liked to stay busy doing chores on the family's small farm which is in a remote location away from the flashy city life. There's no doubt that Kitty is a loving and organizing force in her family.
Piper was a villain for the early portion of his career, once cracking a coconut over the skull of Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka. He hosted a popular WWF talk show segment called 'Piper’s Pit' in the 1980s and later starred in the movie 'They Live.' WWE chairman Vince McMahon called Piper “one of the most entertaining, controversial and bombastic performers ever in WWE, beloved by millions of fans around the world.” Piper also went by the nickname “Hot Rod” during his career. Piper was best known for his lengthy career with the World Wrestling Federation, now the WWE. He had more than 30 titles to his name and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2005. Piper battled Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2006, but later said he had beaten cancer.
