US President Donald Trump's family members — Donald Trump Jr, Eric Trump, Tiffany Trump, Ivanka Trump and First Lady Melania Trump — came together at the Republican National Convention 2020 to rally for him as the presidential candidate. However, not all seems to be hunky-dory between Ivanka — Trump's oldest daughter — and her step-mother Melania.

A bizarre moment came to light at the convention when Ivanka came face-to-face with Melania. While the two greeted each other cordially, Melania's face seemed to go red with anger within seconds after she looked away. Captured on camera, the three-second clip went viral and many Twitter users reposted it, wondering whether the two get along at all. In no time, one of those tweets garnered over 13,000 retweets and 38,000 likes.

One Twitter user went on to say: "I don't think @FLOTUS CAN roll her eyes with all that plastic surgery and BOTOX. But it was definitely a f**k-you glare."

"This was so weird. #RNC2020," one Twitter user wrote and continued, "The disdain she has for Ivanka is all of us. #BeBest." Another said, "I see that Melania and Ivanka are getting along juuuuust fine." One Twitter user straightaway asked: "Did Melania just roll her eyes at Ivanka?"

Soon after, a barrage of tweets exploded on Twitter wondering what they said to each other and many couldn't help but wonder the reason for the hatred. "What did she say to her walking by?" one said and another posted, "Step-moms: the other white meat." One Twitter user went on to say: "I would have liked to see what kind of face Vanky made to Mel that elicited that reaction."

One labeled it as "fear". A tweet read: "Not weird. She’s afraid of Ivanka. Notice when she takes a ragged breath as Ivanka passes. That’s fear. And she loathes her deeply because Ivanka is the same as Donald. That’s the cold look when eye contact breaks. Hard to have any sympathy for her. Her choice I think." Another said, "Did she forgot she was on camera? Maybe it's an easter egg for Ivanka. Her expression is nothing short of visceral VISCERAL loathing. Though I'd like to have seen the look Ivanka gave her. Melania's speech will age better but she's every bit as much as grifter."

One speculated: "What I saw: Melania complemented Ivanka (lip reading): 'you look so beautiful', then kept smiling to her expecting a recognition smile back, instead Ivanka avoided any eye contact W/ her dismissing friendliness attempts; I’d be pissed too." Another tweet read: "HF, Melania Trump just visually clawed Ivanka’s eyes out!" One said, "My theory is Ivanka was giving her major side eye because it came out this week that Melanie was caught making nasty remarks about her husband and his older kids."

Recently, there was also quite a bit of chatter about how Melania launched 'Operation Block Ivanka'. A Daily Mail report reads she plotted to keep the 38-year-old out of the photos of the president taking the oath of office on Inauguration Day, a new book claims. So is the rivalry between Melania and Ivanka real? Well, internet certainly seems to think so.
