'River Where the Moon Rises' Episode 10: Na In-woo as On Dal gets Ga-jin's help to train, bloodbath awaits
At the end of 'River Where the Moon Rises' episode 9, Ga-jin and On Dal had lied to the King and everyone else in the court about how the two of them were married. To make things easier for Ga-jin who is the princess fo the country, On Dal, comes clean about his real identity.
He tells everyone in court that he is the son of the General of the Sunnobu, On Hyeop (Kang Ha-neul) who was killed by Gyerubu's Go Won-pyo (Lee Hae-young). This shocks the King, who thankfully thinks on his feet and sends the princess away with her husband as if he cast them out. This means that the King hopes for Ga-jin aka Pyeongang's return.

If all of them hadn't made this work, what would have happened is Pyeongang would be tied to the Gyerubu by being forcefully married to Go Geon. This would have pushed her over the edge and not let her help the King gain control of Goguryeo back. Especially now that she has learned about how Gyerubu is plotting treason with Silla, there is more reason for her to be wary and plan everything extensively.
So after Ga-jin and On Dal leae the palace and arrive back at the Ghost Village where other Sunnobu people live, they decide to not let everyone in on their secret and inform only Tara-jin, Tara-san and Poong-gae about the truth. Then there is also the matter of raising On Dal's status so that they are able to at some point in the future return to the palace. The one thing that On Dal's father did not want his son to learn was to use a sword because of all the blood that he would have to see. Now, however, with Ga-jin, he will learn to use the sword for the woman he loves and where that would lead the two of them is war.
At the beginning of the show, we saw how Ga-jin had arrived at a war site to see On Dal on the ground hoping for him to be alive. However what she sees is him almost passing out from all the blood he has lost from the wounds at the battle. So from training to being a general to fighting war for the kingdom of Goguryeo, the upcoming 10 episodes will portray the journey of these lovers and if they will have a shot at a happy ending.
In the meantime, there is Go Geun, the general who used to practice sword art with Ga-jin when she was still a child. He has always loved her and with her return, he hopes to be in a relationship with her and get married to her. However, because he happens to be the son of Gyerubu's Go Won-pyo, both Ga-jin and the King are against the idea. After all, neither of them want their feet tied by this. Ga-jin especially since she knows the truth about why her mother had been killed and who shot the arrow into her heart.
