'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City': Is Whitney Rose part of Utah swinger community? Fans wonder if rumors are true

Whitney revealed that Utah has a thriving swinger community, where several people freely swap their spouses at swinger parties

'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' may just be two episodes old, but that isn't keeping the housewives from serving us all the drama. Housewives Lisa Barlow and Whitney Rose ended up locking horns in the latest episode of Bravo's show. In the pilot episode, we saw Whitney having a vow renewal ceremony. She reportedly reached out to Lisa for setting her up with alcohol for the party.

Lisa sends the requested alcohol, alongside two bartenders. Unfortunately, things didn't go smoothly at the party, as the bartenders ended up getting drunk themselves and made a huge mess at the party. Later, when Whitney met Lisa, she told her the same. Instead of hearing Whitney's feedback about her business and employees, the housewife took it as a personal attack on her business and went after Whitney. 

She reportedly called up Whitney later and threatened her not to speak ill of her vodka business, and threatened to spread the rumor of Whitney being a swinger. When Whitney later mentioned this to her sister/ fellow housewife, Heather Gay, the two decided to confront Lisa for her threats and allegations. While discussing the subject of swingers, Whitney revealed that Utah has a thriving swinger community, where several people freely swap their spouses at swinger parties. 

She also mentioned that Mormons were known for their polygamy, and how in the past her family members practised it. Her family members reportedly warned each other about Marshals looking for polygamists via tin can phone lines set up between their homes. When fans learned about the swinger community and allegations of Whitney being one, they were both intrigued and surprised. A fan tweeted, "Whitney: Utah has a history of plural marriage...we have swingers...we have polygamy in our family...there was a wire phone between houses that was used to hide the wives. Gotta call this segment What the Hell History w/ Whitney #RHOSLC." Another fan wrote, “A swinger community” Ms. Utah is a freak freak and got mormons running around too. Lord....#RHOSLC ." "Hearing about these swingers being all over Utah...... man Utah be wilder than we thought #RHOSLC," commented a fan.

A few fans began wondering if there was any weight to the allegations of Whitney being a swinger. A fan shared, "So we can all agree Whitney is definitely a swinger, right? #rhoslc." Another fan declared, "I could see Whitney being a swinger. Not a bad thing either. #RHOSLC." "Who else thinks Whitney is a swinger #RHOSLC," wondered a fan.
