The 'Real Housewives of Potomac' episode that aired on Sunday, August 30 kicked up a storm with a huge showdown between Ashley Darby and Wendy Osefo. Monique Samuels had invited all the housewives to her lakehouse so that they could reintroduce their own selves to the rest of the group. It was a three-day trip but Ashley and Wendy managed to butt heads twice, in a single day. It all started when Ashley arrived at the house with her toddler Dean and the nanny who also happens to be Ashley's best friend. Wendy was taken aback as she had left her baby daughter Kamryn home and revealed that she endured major stress pumping milk before for the trip while making sure that her baby had enough to eat while she was away and that is why she had "no sympathy" for Ashley who was a first-time mom. That was the last straw and the women just started talking over each other till Monique decided to break the fight up and proceeded to raise a toast to their trip.

Later on, Monique admitted in a one-on-one conversation with Wendy that she understood where she was coming from and she clarified that Ashley had requested to bring along her baby after which she made arrangements to host her accordingly. She also added that she would've been open to hosting her along with her child if she was informed in advance. Wendy also admitted that she felt her delivery was wrong in the whole situation from a couple of hours earlier. At dinner that night, the tension between Ashley and Wendy was fanned once again as a couple of housewives decided to again discuss what happened earlier between them. Ashley then went ahead to call Wendy "ferocious" but the latter maintained that she was just being "passionate" and a volley of unpleasant words were exchanged between them. Wendy was asked by Robyn if she would like to apologize for the delivery from earlier, and the former declared she would not do so.

Now fans of the show have been voicing their concerns on Twitter after this episode aired and many of them have been alleging that there is a lot of "colorism" happening on the show. "Monique’s behavior was 'too aggressive' when she joined the show. Candiace’s behavior was 'too aggressive' when she joined the show. Now, Wendy’s behavior is also 'too aggressive.' Do what y’all want with that tea. #RHOP," wrote a fan.

"I'm starting to see a pattern here. Every time the melanin blessed speak up they are aggressive. Monique first, then Candaice and now Wendy. I'm watching yall. Ask BBW. #RHOP" wrote another.

"#RHOP There’s a lot of colorism going on with this group... Ashley, Gizelle and Robin have NEVER been called aggressive but are as aggressive as them come... Ashley wants to label Wendy as ferocious and aggressive? Ashley should be the LAST person labeling anyone anything!!!!" read another tweet.

"When are y'all gonna address the colorism on #RHOP? So you don't see Ashley escalating ish, pointing fingers or utensils, calling Wendy 'ferocious' and 'aggressive' for responding in kind? See also Ashley v. Candiace, Ashley v. Monique, Robyn v. Monique, etc," read another tweet.
