MONTVILLE, NEW JERSEY: In the latest 'Off the Rails' special episode of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 14, Melissa Gorga took the opportunity to reflect on her complicated relationship with Teresa Giudice and the rest of her extended family.
For those who may not be up to date, Melissa is married to Joe Gorga, who happens to be Teresa's younger brother. The ongoing feud between the Gorgas and the Giudices has been a central storyline for years, and it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
“There’s a lot of memories, good and bad. This [show] has been a part of my life since 2010. There’s just so many emotions when you watch it all, but what I see there is done," Melissa shared during the episode.
The Bravo housewife went on to say, “My relationship with my husband’s family, it’s over."
Melissa expressed conflicting emotions before her declaration. She described it as both bittersweet and relieving.
“It sucks. But at the same time I couldn't be happier, in a weird way. To be over ... I feel relieved," she said a couple of moments prior to her final declaration.

Teresa felt betrayed by Melissa joining the cast without her knowledge and stated Melissa has a pattern of copying her and not being honest with her or Bravo.
The tension between them is fueled by rumors of Melissa being a stripper and Teresa's belief that Melissa is only with Joe for his money. Teresa also shared feelin unsupported by the Gorgas during her legal troubles.
Throughout 'RHONJ', Teresa has repeated rumors about Melissa cheating on Joe. Coexisting in the same social circle became complicated due to the Gorgas's emphasis on loyalty.
In Season 13, Danielle Cabral approached Melissa about cheating allegations, leading to a heated argument between Teresa and Melissa. Joe Gorga and Luis Ruelas also got involved, further straining their relationships.
'RHONJ' Season 13 ended with Teresa marrying Luis, causing more drama due to the fallout from the cheating rumors. Melissa and Joe did not attend the wedding.
"How can I celebrate someone else’s marriage when they are constantly trying to destroy mine?" Melissa shared.
Melissa and Joe's decision not to attend the event was probably the last straw in their relationship with Teresa, as it was a choice that couldn't be fixed.

"It unfortunately trickles down. I think once you watch the finale you'll see why. It's sad and you know, I think everyone's moved on pretty much but (the kids) keep in touch. They will text each other 'Happy birthday' and things like that, which is nice," Melissa explained.
