'RHOC' Preview: Is Gina Kirschenheiter and Shannon Beador's friendship over after snide remarks?
Gina Kirschenheiter and Shannon Beador didn't always share a great relationship. But it all changed for the better after Shannon saw Gina struggling to cope with the news of her then-husband- Matt Kirschenheiter cheating on her. When Gina was going through a messy divorce battle with Matt, Shannon took the New Yorker under her wing and was very supportive of her.
Shannon and Gina became close friends over their shared experience of being cheated on and the messy divorce. From taking her on shopping trips to lending a shoulder to cry on, Shannon went the extra mile to ensure that Gina could always count on her. So after the messy divorce was finalized, and things began looking up for Gina, their friendship might be the one to take a hit. After the divorce, Gina wanted to start afresh, so she went ahead and bought herself a townhouse.
Shannon too happened to move into a new house. Gina invited Shannon to visit her place. When Shannon went there, she was surprised by the small size of Gina's house but admired her fellow housewife's creativity and tact to utilize every little space available. She expressed the same to Gina too. Later when Shannon met up Braunwyn Windham-Burke, she began talking about Gina's house. Shannon revealed that six children lived in Gina's 1,100-square foot house. Braunwyn made snide comments about Gina's living situation while Shannon tried defending Gina.
But Braunwyn went around town telling people that Shannon called Gina's house "sad and depressing". When Gina heard the rumors, she got hurt and got upset with Shannon. She couldn't believe that her friend could do this to her. In a sneak peek clip for the upcoming episode, we see Gina declaring to Kelly Dodd and Elizabeth Lyn Vargas that Shannon is no friend of hers, and she can't be friends with anybody that speaks ill of her and her house. We can't wait to see how Shannon reacts to it, and if she confronts Braunwyn. We hope Gina and Shannon can work things out and get back to being friends again.
