The reality star, who met Fontana last year, decided to part ways after only a few months when she began to see his true colors.
In a recent episode of the 'Virtual Reali-Tea' podcast, Sara Al Madani discussed her breakup and described Akin Fontana as 'extremely controlling.' She revealed that he questioned her fidelity, forbidding her from working out at co-ed gyms and expressing insecurity about her having a male trainer. Additionally, Al Madani claimed that Fontana often accused her of seeing other men, which the Bravo star found suspicious and hired a private investigator.
Al Madan shared, "I hired a detective because he always accused me of doing weird things." She added, "I'd be in my room sleeping. He's like, 'You're with somebody.' I'll be giving a speech in a hotel, I'll be in the hotel room after my speech dead, and he's like, 'Oh, you are with somebody.'" Al Madani was notably fed up with Fontana's behaviour and decided it was better to split.
Sara Al Madani claims Akin Fontana was 'rushing' into marriage
'RHODubai' star Sara Al Madani, who has been married twice and had a challenging past, is determined to thoroughly understand her partner before considering marriage again. Despite this, Akin Fontana was eager to propose to her. The Bravo star claimed, "He was rushing to get married after two months of meeting each other."
Al Madani found it 'weird' that Fontana was rushing into marriage and claimed, "He's like, 'I want to get married.' And I'm like, 'Bro, I don't even know you.'" Bravo star explained, "When I say I want to get married, that's my end goal that doesn't mean I want to marry Akin. It means in the end, I want to get married and have kids. I'm not dating for fun."

Sara Al Madani recently alleged that her 'thirsty' ex-boyfriend, Akin Fontana, was using her for fame. On the podcast, she stated, "There's a problem when there's a grown-ass man so thirsty for fame... [When] he would use you to [be on TV]."
Al Madani recounted a dramatic moment while filming a Bravo show episode with Fontana, who then had to return to his hometown in Germany. Despite his desperation to return for another episode, Al Madani insisted, "Darling, it's done. We're done filming this, that part of my life." The Bravo star claimed Fontana got offended after she refused to film more episodes with him adding, "He's like, 'How dare you take me off the show. How dare you.'"

Fontana further claimed that Al Madani's statements were "entirely untrue, and it's confusing, weird, and shocking to me that she's choosing to speak out with these rumors and false accusations now, nearly a year after our breakup..." He added, "Breakups can be difficult, and I understand that emotions can run high, but I am not a friend of revenge, negativity, or speaking badly about someone just for attention."
