'Remind me of miracles': 'Sister Wives' star Christine Brown reveals how she almost lost her daughter Truely
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: Christine Brown reminisces how blessed she is as a mother. The reality TV personality recently uploaded a photo on her Instagram that was drawn by her daughter Truely when she was just 3 years old. The drawing brought up the past in front of Christine's eyes as she looked toward them. The star shares how she witnessed a miracle with Truely.
'Sister Wives' star uploaded two photos drawn on two different white pages. The first one shows Truely being connected to the dialysis machine and writing on it, "fake pee." Well, the other picture was drawn by Truely when she was 12 years old and healthy. In the second picture, we can see Truely's healthy side where she is not attached to any machine and is going to Disneyland. The picture has written on it, "Poop Pee" and "Home." What happened to Christine Brown's daughter Truely?
When Christine found the pictures drawn by Truely when she was just 3, she remembered what happened to her back then. The star recollected the past and wrote, "When Truely was 3, her kidneys shut down." The star further talked about how scared they were thinking whether Truely will be able to live or not. "I spent 11 days in the hospital wondering if I would go home, with or without her," wrote Christine. Truely is Christine and Kody's sixth child. Back in 2013, Truely was admitted to the hospital because of acute kidney failure and dehydration. She was in the emergency room for days. At first, everyone thought it to be flu, but after abdominal dialysis, everything cleared out. Truely was not expected to survive the moment.
Christine Brown recounts miracle
Christine described the pictures in her post, saying, "I came across this picture today, and I remember drawing it for her one size is her at the hospital with tubes connected to a dialysis machine and the next one shows her healthy at home and going to Disneyland." As soon as Truely recovered Christine told her that they would go to Disneyland. Indeed, they did. Christine ends her post by talking about the miracle that saved her daughter's life, "That was the day she started to get better. So glad I kept these pictures to remind me of miracles." She hashtagged the post with words like "blessed," "momlife," "miracles," and "reminders."
Christine has six children, Aspyn, 27, Mykelti, 26, Paedon, 24, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 19, and Truely, 12.
