As soon as the fight begins, humans watching the fight don’t want to support Jack the Ripper in the first place because of how many people he has killed in his life. However, in between the fight, we went into flashbacks and got to know how a lovable young boy became the world’s most notorious serial killer. Let’s take a look.

‘Record of Ragnarok’ Season 2: How did an innocent young boy turn into the infamous serial killer?

During the fight, we see Jack the Ripper keeping Hercules at bay by using a different strategy of turning his gloves into a Volund. So, anything he touches becomes a weapon. Both fighters talk to each other and we get to know how Jack the Ripper became so cruel. The flashback begins with young Jack eating a loaf of bread from the dustbin just outside a restaurant. However, the lead chef of that restaurant sees him and starts kicking him. In the end, he lets go of him and warns him that if he sees him around the restaurant again, he’ll kill him.

At this time, we get to know that Jack had the power of seeing into the souls of the people standing in front of him and could tell what they were feeling. When he gets out of the situation, he tends to steal some bread and fruits for his mother. His mother is working in a brothel and is being scammed by one of her clients. He meets her and tells her everything will be fine. A few moments later, one of his mother’s friends tells him that he deserves better than living inside a brothel.

But things get really weird when his mother gets to know that the man who promised him that he would come back for her has become a successful person and married someone else. That triggers her and she gets really bitter toward Jack, telling him that she only loved him because he was the only reason that she could have met the man of his dreams. Whenever Jack used to see in her mom’s soul, he used to see only love and nothing else. But this time, the color of her soul changed to black and it was just pure rage.

‘Record of Ragnarok’ Season 2: Did Jack really kill his mother?

Her mother kept on saying mean things to him and hitting him. However, he didn’t say anything and wanted to help her, but she lost her mind and started hitting him again. Jack, in his peculiar way, started choking her mother and saw that her mother was scared of him. Her mother was able to get away from him, but as she moved forward to hit her again, he took a pair of scissors and buried it in her neck.

She died in her arms and we saw the birth of a serial killer named Jack the Ripper. After that, he killed multiple prostitutes throughout his life and was never caught.
