It is time to go back to Manderley with Netflix's latest film adaptation of Daphne du Maurier's iconic gothic novel, 'Rebecca'. du Maurier was a consistent source of inspiration for the legendary filmmaker, Alfred Hitchcock and his 1940 adaptation of 'Rebecca' starring Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine even won the Academy Award for Best Picture and Best Cinematography during the 13th edition of the awards. Will Netflix's adaptation live up to Hitchcock's award-winning film or will it surpass it?

Either way, Netflix's 'Rebecca' -- directed by Ben Wheatley from a screenplay by Jane Goldman, Joe Shrapnel, and Anna Waterhouse --, has some big names in the cast including Armie Hammer and Lily James. du Maurier's 'Rebecca' has always enjoyed a cult status because of the power of the characters and how she provided a study in jealousy and other themes through the unnamed narrator as well as the eponymous character who lingers like a ghost through the whole story.

Netflix's adaptation will land on the streaming platform shortly. Read on to know about the big names in the cast for the film and the characters that they will be playing.
