Each episode of ‘Ray Donovan’ is aggravating Ray’s (Live Schreiber) problems and the latest one being Mick (Jon Voight) and the parade of dead bodies he is leaving behind trying to trace the botched heist and to retrieve his fair share from it. Ray was alerted by his old boss and current girlfriend's father James Sullivan (Peter Gerety) that there is no way Mick is actually dead because he is killing off one member of the heist after another. While Ray knew that his father is alive, he had wanted to keep him and the rest of the Donovan family away from trouble by sending him away, and as it turns out Mick never took the flight Ray had arranged for him.

In the previous episode, we saw him tracking down Mick, thanks to the credit card Sandy (Sandy Martin) left behind at Dusty Bottoms. However, while he was chasing after Mick, he was sneak-attacked by Daryll (Pooch Hall) who has joined his father on the mission to retrieve the loot. Even though he was deeply disturbed by the number of people Mick had killed during the course of their journey, he too ended up killing someone when he tried to step in.

However, his attack on Ray seemed more personal than just keeping him away while Mick finishes what he started because we see him confronting his older brother during their fight. He asks Ray to admit that he has never thought of him as a brother, and clearly that is bothering him. It remains to be seen if Ray will address these allegations and put his younger brother's mind at ease, considering he is now going for therapy.

Point being, the last we saw Ray, he was lying unconscious out in the open after being hit in the head with a bottle by Daryll, which means Mick, Sandy and Daryll have enough time to slip away before Ray recovers. He will soon be back up, however, and when we meet him in the upcoming Season 7 Episode 7, we will see that he is back to tracking them and he will have his new girlfriend Molly (Kerry Condon) by his side. After all, her father, James, has been taken hostage by Mick who is torturing him for information regarding the heist and she wants to help in any way she can.

To find out whether Ray and Molly reach Mick before he kills James, watch Season 7 Episode 7 of 'Ray Donovan', titled 'The Transfer Agent' on Sunday, December 29, when it airs on Showtime.
