'Ray Donovan' Season 7 Episode 4: Bridget and Smitty are working together in the fixing business after she cheated on him with her boss
Season 7 of 'Ray Donovan' has not been all that kind to Ray (Liev Schreiber), with the return of old enemies, death of his father, resurrection of his father, the insistence of a cop to pin him for a murder, the struggles that come with going to therapy in the initial stages and now, the departure of a trusted employee and friend.
We saw Lena (Katherine Moennig) tell Bridget (Kerris Dorsey) and Ray that she is not happy in New York and that she wants to go back to LA, and she has followed through with this as of the previously aired Season 7 Episode 3. Fans of Dorsey needn't worry, because she has a starring role in Showtime's 'The L Word: Generation Q', which is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, December 8 - the same day as the premiere of 'Ray Donovan' Season 7 Episode 4.
Ray too, will find some solace in the fact that his daughter has all the making of a fixer and may make up for Lena's absence on his team. In the trailer for the upcoming 'Hispes', we see that the very boss who Bridget cheated on her husband Smitty (Graham Rogers) with, has called her for some fixing-related help. Naturally, Bridget wonders why he wouldn't reach out to her father directly, but it turns out Ray is busy dealing with Mayor Feratti's (Zach Grenier) innumerable demands, and his father, and also, according to the trailer, the Sullivan siblings, especially Molly (Kerry Condon).
Ray and Molly's romantic storyline seems inevitable even as Bridget and Smitty's marriage seems to be heading towards a disaster. After accepting her boss' request for help, Bridget gets Smitty in on her mission, and it remains to be seen if things get awkward. Smitty is a particularly clueless man, but even he may be able to figure out something is amiss, when he finds himself with his wife and the other man in her life.
We are excited for Season 7 Episode 4 of 'Ray Donovan' to premiere on Sunday, December 9 in order to find out how things are going to turn out.
