Raven Symone hints at 'The Cheetah Girls' reunion film, says she'd love to collaborate with Adrienne
Everyone loves reboots and reunions! Joining the ranks of 'Gossip Girls' and 'Friends' now might be our favorite fictional velvet tracksuit donning girl group. If everything goes well, Raven Symone has hinted that 'The Cheetah Girls' reunion might be on the horizon, bringing the girls back together for another film.
In a recent interview with ET for her new song 'Spacetruck', the singer was asked to comment on what it would take to get the girls to come back together for another film especially in a time like this, which is dominated by reunions and reboots. Raven revealed that she is more than ready to make it happen but she couldn't speak for her other co-stars turned friends - Adrienne Bailon, Sabrina Bryan and Kieley Williams. "I need to talk to the girls first because we need to curate an answer. This can go so sideways on so many levels," said Symone.
She also mentioned that reunion or not, she will always be up for a collaboration with Adrienne and is up for working with her for the rest of her life. "Listen, I'm down with Adrienne [Bailon Houghton], whatever Adrienne's down to do, I'm down. I will work with Adrienne for the rest of my life. She's awesome sauce."
While the reunion seems largely unsure, or even if it happens, it seems like either Adrienne or Kieley might not be a part of the same. The reason being, Kieley recently called out Adrienne for "pretending" to be her best friend on social media. While she was doing a Q&A with her fans, one fan asked her if she would ever appear on Adrienne's talk show 'The Real' and in response, she said, "I'm going, to be honest with you. I don't think Adrienne wants to have live TV with me because I mean, she's going to have to say, Yes, Kiely, I did pretend to be your best friend. Now, I am not."
Weighing in on this, Raven mentioned, "It's just, real girl groups have their moments, imagine a fake one,".
Despite the feud between her friends, Raven is hopeful that the reunion will happen but maintains that it will only be fun when all of them come together for the same."The message of the Cheetah Girl movement is the most beautiful thing I think I've ever been a part of and the stories that can come out and have come out have shaped and molded many generations, which is awesome sauce! And yes, how I would love to be a part of that brand again. But it needs to be genuine. We all have to be there."
