'Ragnarok' Season 2: Air time, how to live stream, cast, plot and all you need to know about Netflix's Norwegian fantasy series
The Norwegian original series was given a green signal for season renewal within a month since it premiered in 2020, which made it clear that the rage among fans for 'Ragnarok' was feverish. Apparently, it was Netflix's sixth most-watched series in the US in 2020.
Although the showrunners have not confirmed how the second installment will begin, as far as our guesses go, it may pick from where it left off. The first season ended with a fight between Magne (David Stakston) and Vidar (Gísli Örn Garðarsson), which ends with a cliffhanger. So, we don't know yet if the characters were killed off or they could return.

Air date
'Ragnarok' Season 2 will premiere on May 27, Thursday at 12 am PT on Netflix.
How to live stream
Season 1 of the show can be streamed here. Ragnarok's second season will have episodes as opposed to six.
Plot
While the world awaits the Marvel Cinematic Universe to drop a few gems such as 'Loki' and 'Thor: Love and Thunder', this Norwegian Netflix original will save the binge-watchers. Set in the fictional town of Edda, "Ragnarok is a coming-of-age drama building on and contributing to a new and surprising angle on Norse mythology."
The streaming giant further described the series: "The story revolves around the inhabitants of Edda, who are perhaps not all who they claim to be. With them, we experience a drastically changing world: melting poles, warm winters, violent downpours. Some might say we’re headed for yet another Ragnarok. Unless someone intervenes in time."
Cast
'Ragnarok' Season 2 will return with David Stakston as Magne, Jonas Strand Gravli as Laurits, Herman Tømmeraas as Fjor, Theresa Frostad Eggesbø as Saxa, Emma Bones as Gry, Henriette Steenstrup as Turid, and Synnøve Macody Lund as Ran. However, as we mentioned earlier, Vidar's (Gísli Örn Garðarsson) fate hangs in the balance.
