Queen shares her favorite photo with Prince Philip: A look at 10 unforgettable moments of the couple in pictures
On the eve of Prince Philip's funeral, the Queen has released one of her favorite photographs with her husband of 73 years. Taken by their daughter-in-law Sophie, Countess of Wessex in 2003, the beautiful picture captured the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh in a moment of pure happiness and peace. The photograph was taken at the Coyles of Muick near Aberdeenshire town of Ballater.
The Coyles of Muick stands above the entrance to Glen Muick and is located near the Queen's private estate of Balmoral. The Queen and the duke have always traditionally spent their summers here.
