HBO is teaming up with the Academy Award-winning filmmaker Adam McKay for an upcoming docuseries which will shed a light on the origins of ‘QAnon’ and a pro-Trump conspiracy theory that took shape during his presidency.

According to the ‘QAnon’ followers, the world is being governed by a group of pedophiles who worship Satan. They also claim that ex-president Donald Trump came into power to unmask the group and punish them. The group categorically states that the former president of the United States is preparing for a day of reckoning, ‘The Storm’, when several members of the “deep state” will be executed. Such theories created a lot of controversies in the US and gained a lot of popularity among the far-right voters during the 2020 US Presidential Election.
