As former President Donald Trump nears his impeachment trial at the Senate after having allegedly incited an insurrection that led to the storming of the Capitol building on January 6, the far-right conspiracy theorists are still refusing to believe that their idol got voted out of the White House after just one term, only to become the first president ever to get impeached by the House for a second time.

As a result, in keeping with their history of coming up with bizarre conspiracy theories, QAnon's latest one involves a face and body swipe of the current President Joe Biden and his predecessor.

Vox reporter Dylan Scott tweeted: "Just heard the new qanon theory that 'Joe Biden' is actually 'Donald Trump wearing a Joe Biden mask' and the real Biden is going on trial during the impeachment hearings and honestly I’m not even mad, I’m impressed."

QAnon commonly asserts that Trump has been planning a day of reckoning known as the "Storm" when thousands of members of the cabal — which includes liberal Hollywood actors, Democratic politicians, and high-ranking government officials — which is running a global child sex-trafficking ring, will be arrested.

Scott's tweet went viral and on social media, sparking a bunch of reactions. Some believed that the latest QAnon theory was ripped off the famous movie 'Face/Off' starring Nicolas Cage and John Travolta. Others questioned the unbelievable theory by pointing out the differences in Biden and Trump's physique.

"Dylan Scott informs new Qanon theory: Joe Biden is actually Donald Trump wearing a Biden mak. Real Biden will go on trial in the Senate. This just might actually work if Biden wears a Trump mask. We'll see if Senators, fans of Q, vote to convict," one of them said while another wrote, "I'll give them this: they're 'intellectually flexible.'" A third commented, "Cool sounds like plot for Batman or something." One more wrote, "I want to see the videos that deepfakery will make possible."

The next quipped, "They must have been watching the movie face/off on a loop I guess." One more remarked, "Will he share his diet secrets?" Another said, "I want to know where they got that body slimmer. Asking for a friend." One more noted, "Awesome, then the Republicans should have absolutely no problem convicting him during the Impeachment trial." A commenter tweeted, "I know I’m not supposed to ask questions, but did they also switch Melania & Jill?" One more said, "Man I need to get Trump's diet and exercise plan, he went from 400 pound to fit in one day." Another added, "Okay, that’s the face. How do they explain the elegant physique?"

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Trump parted ways with five impeachment defense attorneys including South Carolina attorney Butch Bowers, who was expected to be the lead attorney, and Deborah Barbier just over a week before his Senate trial is set to begin. Jason Miller, a political adviser to the former president, said it was a mutual decision for both to leave the legal team. As the lead attorney, Bowers had assembled the team.

The Associated Press reported two others who were expected on the legal team, South Carolina law firm partners Greg Harris and Johnny Gasser, were also no longer expected to defend Trump in the Senate trial, though additions were expected to be announced in the coming days. Josh Howard, a North Carolina attorney who was recently added to the team, has also left.
