A protesting Russian soldier reportedly ran over his commanding officer with a tank amid Russia's continued invasion of Ukraine, claims a Ukrainian journalist. As per reports, the Russian soldier blamed commander Medvedev Yuri for the deaths of his friends in his unit. Meanwhile, two Russian soldiers were caught venting about Putin's 'bullshit' war against Ukraine in an intercepted phone call.

"Two BTGR 37 separate motor rifle brigades in combat in the area of Makarov of more than 1500 soldiers, lost about 50% of their personnel, many soldiers were injured in various degrees of gravity. A military officer of the tank battalion 37 accused the death of friends and co-workers of the brigade commander Colonel Medvedev Yuri. After choosing a convenient moment, during the fight, he ran over the tank of the commander standing next to him, injuring both his legs. Colonel Medvedev is now in hospital in Belarus, awaiting financial compensation for combat injuries received during the 'special military operation to protect Donbass.' Colonel Medvedev was awarded the Order of Courage," Ukrainian journalist Roman Tsymbaliuk reported on Facebook on March 25.

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov confirmed in a VK post that Medvedev was injured: "Friends! Chechen fighters successfully resist Bandera, Nazis, and devils on the territory of Ukraine. During the battle for another settlement, our soldiers evacuated the wounded brigade commander, Army Colonel Yuri Medvedev. He was carried out of the fire to a safe place. Our fighters provided him with first aid and promptly took him to the hospital in their transport, handed him over to the doctors. Thanks to the clear and coordinated actions of the Chechen fighters, the brigade commander feels good. His life is no longer in danger. I hope that he will be back in action soon."

Though Tsymbaliuk's version of events could not be confirmed, Kadyrov's post is video proof confirming that Medvedev was indeed injured and evacuated by Chechen troops. Meanwhile, in a recording released by the Security Service of Ukraine, an unnamed soldier near Mykolaiv can be heard saying, "Basically, it's a shitshow here, I'll put it that way."

As per The Daily Beast, after telling his friend that Ukrainian forces 'tore apart' a column of Russian forces sent along with his own unit, he described complete disarray among the Russian military, with 50 percent of the unit suffering from frostbite on their feet. "But they don’t plan to treat them in the [field] hospital," he said. He further added that General-Lieutenant Yakov Rezantsev told them it'd be over quickly. "Do you know what he told us? 'It's no secret to anyone that there are only a few hours until this special operation is over.' And now those hours are still going."

He recalled soldiers telling their general, "'Comrade General, damn it, I have this situation.' And he just says, 'Son, be strong,' and then he f**ks off. It's such trash here... our own plane dropped a bomb on us." The soldier further revealed, "They couldn't even send off the 200s here. They rode with us for five days. Even in Chechnya, there was nothing like this." Reportedly, 200s is a Russian military term for dead bodies. The soldier described the situation as a 'madhouse.' "This 'special operation' damnit... with respect to homes not meant to be destroyed... it's bulls**t."

The post is captioned, "To the Russian occupiers near Nikolaev, it is more terrible, than in Chechnya. Putin's army under the command of General Yakov Ryazantsev, stationed in the Mykolayiv region, is defeated and under siege. This is evidenced by the conversations of racists, intercepted by the SBU. The invaders recall that on the 4th day of the war, the general promised them that the 'special operation' would be completed in a matter of hours. However, it lasted for a week. The occupiers themselves went to Ukraine to march victoriously through the cities as in a parade. But now they were taken in a ring, therefore the current 'task to go to Nikolaev' is considered unreal. 'The guys come up, who instead of the armor plate have an ordinary Kevlar screen: There... comrade general, this, damn it, I have such a situation... And he says: son, be strong... and f**k off. It's such trash, they threw their plane bombs on us... good morning it was...' the Russian occupier told his comrade in arms. They complain that they do not have tents, stoves, live in trenches dug by themselves. 50% of the staff have frostbite, but the hospital is not going to treat them, because even the 200s are not taken out. 'Here even 200 could not be sent, they rode with us for 5 days.' With such a fighting spirit and frostbitten limbs, they can't go far."
