Harry and Meghan called 'hypocrites' for Archie's cameo in Spotify podcast: 'Pass me the sick bucket'
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle introduced their brand new podcast on Spotify to their fans on Tuesday with '2020 Archewell Audio Holiday Special' - a 34-minute discourse featuring reflections on 2020. While critics labeled the commentary between the Sussexes 'dull preachy', the Internet was furious at them for a cameo from their son Archie during the podcast. The reason? Social media claims the former royals have gone back on their claims of shielding their son from the media and branded them hypocrites for 'using' Archie in their podcast as a 'money-making machine'. During the special cameo from Archie where his parents were trying to teach him how to say 'Happy New Year', the toddler first giggled before wishing listeners with the season's greetings. And adorable as all of it was, after an initial wave for how their voices were 'made for it' and how adorable everything about the cameo was, users started saying "someone please pass the sick bucket...".
That wasn't the end of it, however, as other social media critics had an issue with the couple using their son for their lucrative collab with Spotify that is rumoured to be around a whopping $40 million.
Someone please pass the sick bucket .....

Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: "This is what the (clown emojis) did to Archie. Bringing him out under the guise of cuteness or the podcasts are under his brand Archewell Audio in order to just gain popularity and for themselves and #spotify. Privacy = out of the window. Archie = officially for sale!"
Others slammed the discourse of the 'rich and famous' noting: "People are losing lives, loved ones, jobs, careers and this shit show is going to continue into 2021 but call me cynical, I could not really give a shit what Baby Archie's first words are... gotta keep that money making machine going, don't they?" A user even commented, "Not sure a podcast featuring the difficulties of the rich and famous is what we need from Harry and Meghan."

2020 has been difficult. Not sure a podcast featuring the difficulties of the rich and famous is what we need from Harry and Meghan 🙄

Some dug up old claims of Harry wanting to shield his son from the British media and labeled him a hypocrite. "What hypocrites they are. They spout about the value of family and ignore their own ageing vulnerable families. They want privacy and seek publicity on a regular basis and wheel out their son to lure a bigger audience. Poor Archie," wrote the user.
Another chipped in: "Very simple really! There was no money in it in UK. (baby emoji) is being used as a cash cow. H is worse as he complained about all the “camera clicks” he had to endure and now he’s using Archie’s name for profit." Another one resonated with the idea, saying: "1. So Prince Harry spends his adult life moaning about the way he was exposed to the media as a child. 2. So Prince Harry exposes his baby son’s name, image, and now voice in the global media to make huge amounts of dollars..The Markle's hypocrisy is as grotesque as their greed."
Do ppl know how they complained about UK(who were paying for their privileged lifestyle)being interested in their baby?Their hypocrisy is almost https://t.co/YfUW2hjloC they’re using same 👶to make money after refusing an offer in Australia to name a plane Archie

That’s right, she knew she couldn’t make any money from Archie if he was offered on a silver platter. She’s going to pimp him out very slowly to ensure she gets top dollar each time. Harry should be ashamed of himself for not protecting his son from Meghan Mega Bucks!

Others took to criticizing the Duchess of Sussex, saying: "That’s right, she knew she couldn’t make any money from Archie if he was offered on a silver platter. Users also highlighted how Harry and Meghan had expressed issues with an Australian organization about naming a plane Archie, yet are using him on their podcast. "Do ppl know how they complained about UK(who were paying for their privileged lifestyle)being interested in their baby?Their hypocrisy is almost unbelievable. Now they’re using same to make money after refusing an offer in Australia to name a plane Archie"
I haven’t heard the podcast but hearing little Archie saying say ‘happy new year’ and the giggling on the news was lovely and it really made me feel happy. I don’t blame Harry for using his fame to make money. The lad’s been MSM cannon fodder since the day he was born.

Archie's podcast cameo comes shortly after the toddler was featured on the family Christmas card along with their two dogs. Although a fan of him, the Internet does not seem to enjoy his parents adding him to their podcast. Some however defended the move, saying: "I haven’t heard the podcast but hearing little Archie saying say ‘happy new year’ and the giggling on the news was lovely and it really made me feel happy. I don’t blame Harry for using his fame to make money. The lad’s been MSM cannon fodder since the day he was born."
