'Just cruel': William and Kate slammed for making sweltering Prince George wear suit during heatwave

Prince George’s cute interaction with his dad Prince William when the eight-year-old and his mother Kate Middleton arrived at the Wimbledon final has gone viral. Prince George looked dapper in his blue suit, but a video from the tournament shows the royals arriving at the All England Club and Prince George appeared to be complaining to his father about being "too hot". Prince William leans down to ask his son if he is ok, to which George replies, "Yeah." However, rather than taking off his jacket and loosening his tie, the eight-year-old prince remained in his full attire.
However, the heat must have been unbearable because George was seen drinking water and wiping his face throughout the game. Even Kate was seen bending down to wipe her son's face of sweat. Many royal fans questioned why Prince George had to dress in a suit and tie in heat when temperatures were sitting around 30 degrees Celsius. One user wrote, “Poor Prince George in a suit and tie at Wimbledon.” “Poor Prince George. Trussed up in a suit and tie on the hottest day at Wimbledon. I know he's 3rd in line, but he's a little boy, for crying out loud. A nice, collared cotton tee and a pair of slacks would be much more comfortable, poor kid,” another user added.

Someone wrote, “I don't care what family they are, no way should parents take their child to the Wimbledon men's final today, in these temperatures and make them wear a suit and tie 'Prince George', he's 8 years old for god's sake, not 80. Shorts, T-Shirt, sun hat, and sun cream. #WimbledonFinal.”
“Anyone called the NSPCC on Prince William and Kate? Who makes their child wear a suit and tie in 30+degree heat 🥵. Prince George is getting redder and redder in the face 😳. Just cruel 🤦♀️.” yet another user remarked.
‘You okay?’

For me today is all about Prince George Alexander of Cambridge 🤩 I love that hus Parents are easing him into his role, And teaching him to respect the dress code. For the ones complaining about suits, he is the future King of england, not your regular boy. So moving on! 😍😎🇬🇧 pic.twitter.com/hI3jELkdMT

He seemed quite at home in that suit today. He looked happy and relaxed. Worth getting dressed up to meet the Wimbledon champion and hold that trophy!
