Who is Preston Wolf?
The teenager who was assaulted by the cop on the grounds of a possible stabbing was identified as Preston Wolf. The Vacaville, California native was allegedly in a scuffle with a neighbor and had picked up either a pipe or a knife, and cops were called to a possible stabbing with the weapon, even though no one was injured, reports TMZ. Preston was found on his scooter when cops arrived at the scene and a video of the incident that has since been made public shows the officer tosses the boy's scooter to the ground before ordering Preston to sit.
Immediately, Preston gets punched in the face, and as soon as he tries to run, the officer grabs him, yanks him to the ground and delivers a second punch — this time to his head. Preston then screams in agony, "You punched me in the f**king head." Then the officer continues to threaten the teen and says "You're gonna get hurt. Don't make me hurt you more. Don't make me hurt you more."

'My son became fearful'
In the aftermath of the incident, TMZ reports, Preston's dad Adam Wolf posted on Facebook a copy of their doorbell video, adding the caption: "The officer screamed at him to sit down which he did. The officer then moved Aggressively toward my son, threw his scooter and got in his face. My son became fearful, as would any child with Autism. The officer went to touch Preston, at which point Preston moves away. At this point, Preston was confused and afraid and moves away from the officer even more."
In his post, Adam continues: "At that point the officer felt it was a good idea to THROW Preston to the ground ... I don't believe that Preston will ever trust a police officer again. I am pro police, but I am not pro ABUSE! This individual and department must be held accountable for their actions. NO child, disability or not, deserves to be treated like this. Police detained Preston for an hour ... he was cited and released."
The police department involved is already investigating the incident and the officer reportedly wasn't aware that Preston had special needs at the time of the attack. Police had arrived at the scene on Wednesday, April 21, and found the victim of the reported assault to be a 16-year-old boy who was unharmed, barring minor injuries that did not require medical attention, the police department has revealed in a press release.
