This article contains spoilers for Season 6, Episode 15

We finally know who shot Ghost, but then again, it hasn't exactly been a secret, has it? Thanks to rapper and executive producer 50 Cent, the highly anticipated finale was revealed a week ago when he chose to share the ending online. Thanks to the concept of leaked endings and the like, shows have incorporated the habit of shooting multiple endings for a series finale, so they can air an alternate one in case the pre-decided one gets leaked before time. Sadly, that wasn't the case with Starz' crime drama 'Power', whose Season 6 aired the same ending that 50 had leaked. But at least, we are certain for real about who shot Ghost!

The series finale opened with Tasha St. Patrick and her beau Quinton Wallace in bed together and steamy as it might be, we cannot overlook the fact that these two are still together? But the focus soon shifts to her sneaking back into the room, but Tariq St Patrick busts her on the act. Tasha's only defense is her reassurance that Ghost has been taken care of with her tip to the police, suggesting him as a suspect for Terry Siler's murder. But Tasha and Tariq's dreams of living happily ever after are ruined by the next morning when they discover that Ghost is running for lieutenant governor. Tasha calls Cooper Saxe demanding answers. After a lot of meandering through flashbacks back and forth, the one between Tasha and Ghost, aka James St. Patrick, where the two meet at Raina Estelle St. Patrick's graveside stands out.

The two have an interaction with Ghost insisting on his positive impact in Taha's life, but it is not until the confrontation over Lakiesha's murder pops up between Tasha and Tommy Egan, of all people, that Taha's desperation in getting dirt on Ghost amplifies. She rushes to Saxe, where she receives the biggest bombshell news of all: Ghost is planning on turning in Tariq over for Ray Ray's murder, so he can go on to live with a squeaky clean record.

Even after a confrontation between Tasha and Ghost and Tariq owning a gun at this point, we don't really doubt the mother-son duo. It is only after Ghost persuades Tariq to confess to the murder that Tasha realizes there's no taking down Ghost except making him pay the ultimate price - death. Tasha tries to stop her son from doing the inevitable - kill his father. But Tariq is out for Ghost's blood and has the same fierce intent in him to do anything it takes and thus we come to the final piece of the puzzle: Tariq shot Ghost.

Trust Ghost's power to control the evil geniuses even in death; Tasha has been left nothing in the will and whatever's left will be accessible to them only when Tariq graduates. They frame Quin for the murder and he is arrested naked, but he too has an alibi for the time Ghost was shot - thus rotating the roulette table once again, sending fans to into a cesspool of speculation about the story not really being over.

'Power' series finale aka Season 6, Episode 17 aired on Sunday, 9pm only on Starz.
