'Power' season 6 will see more remorseless killings and bodies piling up higher than in any previous season

Given the incremental increase in body counts with every subsequent season, the death count in season six is predicted to be about 48, and we cannot wait to find out how many of those are going to be Tommy’s and how many will be Ghost's

For five amazing seasons, Starz's 'Power' had us glued to the edge of our seats, with its gripping stories, badass characters and most importantly, the point-blank, remorseless violence. Averaging 3.2 kills per episode, the show may possibly be the deadliest around, and we expect the trend to continue in the upcoming episodes of season 6 as well. In fact, Casino.org, has predicted that the number of kills will get higher in the latest season.

According to the data collected by the website, we have seen seven kills in season 1; 16 in season 2 – which is about 229% more than the first; 24 in season 3– which is about 150% more than the previous season; 26 in season 4 – which is about 108% more than the previous season; and 32 in season 5 – which is 123% more kills than season 4.

Given the rise in the number of deaths each season, which averages about 152%, the death count in season six is predicted to be about 48, and we cannot wait to find out how many of those are going to be Tommy’s (Joseph Sikora) and how many will be Ghost's (Omari Hardwick). In the most recently aired episode 1 of the season, we saw Ghost killing a man he assumed to be his former BFF Tommy.

As fans know, Tommy murdered the love of Ghost’s life by accident in season 5 finale, when in fact, he was trying to kill Ghost, and he is looking for revenge. Our protagonist believes that he avenged his childhood sweetheart’s life. Unbeknownst to him, though, Tommy is laying low.

When the truth comes out, more bodies are going to roll in the mud. We do know that neither of them is shy when it comes to killing, it possibly comes with being a drug lord. Both Tommy and Ghost have killed 13 people on the show, while Dre (Rotimi Akinosho) has 10 under his belt. However, with 14 kills, the late Kanan aka 50 Cent leads the pack in this regard.

Kanan is definitely not coming back from the dead, but you better keep your eyes peeled for Dre’s return. He is sure to contribute to the death count this season, but the lead will be taken by either Tommy or Ghost.

Don’t forget to catch the upcoming season 6 episode 2 of ‘Power,’ which airs on Sunday, September 1, to keep a tab on the body count.
