'Power' Season 6 Episode 9: Proctor and Keisha have bit the dust, are Tate and Tommy next?

In the trailer for the upcoming episode, we see that both these men are seething with the need for revenge on Ghost. Tate hates Ghost for ruining his political career and Tommy blames him for the death of Keisha.

The wait for a new episode of 'Power' is finally over, and the Starz show is returning with Season 6 Episode 9 titled 'Scorched Earth' on Sunday, October 27. The week-long break, especially so close to the mid-season finale, gave us some separation anxiety, but we powered through and we are ready to see more of Ghost (Omari Hardwick), Tasha (Naturi Naughton), Tate (Larenz Tate), and most importantly, Tommy (Joseph Sikora).

As we saw in the previous episode, 'Deal with the Devil', LaKeisha (La La Anthony) is dead - murdered, rather - and the timing could not have been worse. She was about to get the life she dreamed of for so long, with Tommy just getting ready to propose to her - he had bought a ring and everything. However, she was spooked by the FBI closing in, but more importantly, it spooked her childhood BFF, Tasha, too.

We know that Tasha would do anything to protect her own, and wanting to eliminate any threat of Keisha talking to the RBI and ratting out Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.), she ended her. Tommy had warned Keisha to leave town, warned her that sticking with Tommy would land her nowhere but in a body bag. She, however, refused to listen, and Ghost's premonition came true. Hers is possibly the most devastating death of the season, after Proctor (Jerry Fererra). That, in fact, was a death we did not see coming, and a murder that made most of us truly wary of Tommy.

With both of these important characters out of the picture, we wonder who is going to add to the body count this season before the series wraps up. Our money is on Tate and Tommy. In the trailer for the upcoming episode, we see that both these men are seething with the need for revenge on Ghost. Tate hates Ghost for ruining his political career - one that he was working so hard to protect - and Tommy blames him for the death of Keisha.

They both have some ominous words for Ghost in 'Scorched Earth'', but we know how it works out for most people that threaten him. Our best guess is that these are on top of Power's list of bodies and we cannot wait to see how the Starz show is going to work it into Ghost's story.

Watch Season 6 Episode 9 of 'Power' on Sunday, October 27 on Starz.
