'Power' Season 6 Episode 8: FBI is closing in on Tommy and LaKeisha, a murder seems imminent, but what about Dre 'Nine Lives' Coleman?

For a while, Tommy had us convinced that he truly loves LaKeisha, but since we know better, it seems likely he is going to get her killed before the show ends.

'Power' is coming to an end, and it seems like so is Tommy's (Joseph Sikora) time as a drug lord. Based on what we know about the upcoming Season 6 Episode 8 of the Starz show, the feds are closing in on him and even LaKeisha (La La Anthony), thanks to Dre (Rotimi Akinosho).

In the previous episode, we saw Tommy giving LaKeisha a gun, which he had never done in the past, and she definitely made good use of it. When a man, claiming to have been sent by Ghost (Omari Hardwick) presses a knife to her throat, she shoots him in the head. It is clear that Ghost did not send him, but LaKrisha seems convinced that he did. She is thoroughly shaken and emotionally asks Tommy to leave the game for good. Again.

“This is just part of the life,” he tells her in response and brushes her worries aside with a clearly vacant promise to "live a normal life." For a while, Tommy had us convinced that he truly loves LaKeisha - he even got a house in the suburbs - but since we know better, we are kind of sure that he is going to get her killed before the show ends.

Meanwhile, Dre keeps on living, escaping death narrowly over and over again. Tommy was about to put a bullet in him, but just in the nick of time, LaKeisha calls him to discuss disposing of the body of the man she shot to death. When he went away to deal with that problem, Dre pulled out a sympathy card and convinced the kind, dumb BG to allow him to make one last call to his daughter.

Instead, he quickly pulled a gun out of BG’s waist when he got close and shot him in the head before he could even figure out what happened. Is Dre going to just live forever? Definitely seems like it!

We will find out how long his lucky streak continues when Season 6 Episode 8 of 'Power' premieres on Starz on Sunday.
