Post Malone releases innovative video for new single 'Circles', but you'll need two phones to watch it

It is an innovative and artistic rendition on the failures/schleps of relationships, with the one video of the man and, the other, of the woman in the relationship; a play on the concept of running in 'circles.'

Post Malone has revealed a new concept to the art of making music videos (on December 17) with his smash hit single 'Circles'. The video, cleverly chimed as "Two music videos, one story" on the song's own official website, calls for a partnered cooperative experience rather than a solo listener.

It requires two people to hold their phones side-by-side and synced with a video on each phone playing simultaneously. Amazingly, when the two phones are side-by-side, they form a complete video that tells the whole story behind the song 'Circles'. The "video", or shall we say 1/2/3 videos, are available exclusively on Spotify. It is an innovative and artistic rendition on the failures/schleps of relationships, with the one video of the man and, the other, of the woman in the relationship; a play on the concept of running in "circles."

The original music video for 'Circles' displays a medieval setting, but the dual-phone video portrays a more abstract augmented design that intertwines and folds over each other and the successful pull-off of the contrast between the two types of videos of the same song is nothing short of impressive.

With Malone garnering much-deserved attention for the successful smorgasbord of just plain beautiful songs, Post Malone is not stopping with the treats as he will be headlining Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.

According to Daily Mail, the 'Better Now' star will perform in the famous Times Square to close off the year and ring in the new year with nothing but good vibes and sheer talent on New Year's Eve at the musical spectacular, hosted by Ryan Seacrest. The show will also include the likes of BTS, Sam Hunt, and Alanis Morissette, and cast of the hit Broadway musical 'Jagged Little Pill.' Previous performers in the iconic slot at Times Square include Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and Carrie Underwood.

'Circles' features on Post Malone's recent Billboard 200 chart-topping album, 'Hollywood's Bleeding.' Grab a partner and get cozy with the dual-phone video here.
