WAXAHACHIE, TEXAS: A missing six-year-old boy was found dead in a car in a parking garage along with his mother, who reportedly kidnapped him from her estranged husband, according to the police. An Amber Alert was issued for the boy earlier in the day after reports came in that the boy's mother may have abducted the boy, stated authorities.

According to DailyMail, on Friday, August 23, night, Phillip Oliver "Ollie" Wiedemann's body was found in Waxahachie, Texas, along with the body of his mother, Candace Harbin.

The cops issued an Amber Alert after Phillip's father, John Wiedemann, reported him missing. Nine hours after the alert was issued, authorities found their bodies, the police said. Further details related to the cause of death have not yet been released by authorities, stated reports.

The 46-year-old Harbin reportedly did not have custody of Phillip after the couple separated earlier, according to reports. In a statement, cops revealed that "At approximately 6.35 pm, Friday evening, the vehicle that had been listed in the Amber Alert was located in a Waxahachie parking garage."

It added, "Waxahachie Police Department officials responded to the location after being advised that there were two unresponsive individuals in the vehicle." The statement added, "The cause of death and further details regarding this situation are not being released at this time, as this is an ongoing investigation."

Police officials initially revealed at first that they believed Phillip might be in "imminent danger" and had sought public information if they spotted the car the mother was reportedly driving.

John had also taken to Facebook and shared pictures of his son pleading people to help him out with any information on their whereabouts saying: "Please help my son!"

Phillip was last seen on Thursday, August 22, in a blue polo shirt, tan shorts, and tan shoes. The young boy was described as a four feet tall kid and weighed about 50lbs. The Waxahachie Police Department revealed that Harbin was driving a white color 2012 Nissan Quest minivan that had a Texas license plate FLW5767 when the Amber alert was issued.

An investigation into their deaths is ongoing.
