Poker 'cheating' scandal: Fan spots exact moment when Robbie Jade Lew used her 'vibrating ring'
GARDENA, CALIFORNIA: The controversial World Poker Tour event on Friday, September 30, in which seasoned player Garrett ‘Gman’ Adelstein, 36, accused his opponent Robbi Jade Lew, 35, of cheating after she won the entire $269,000 pot by using a “device hidden that simply vibrates to indicate you have the best hand,” has shocked the poker world. However, a sharp-eyed poker fan already had an inkling of what was happening even before the allegations surfaced. He tweeted the exact moment when Lew allegedly used a vibrating ring to cheat in the high-stakes match.
The fan analyzed the video and broke it down to that exact point when he understood Lew was not playing by the rules. "Why unnaturally slap your hand down on the table, nervously clear your throat, then take the red ring off of your right middle finger and put it elsewhere? 100% a signaling device. Excessive amounts of other jewelry to blend it in, took one piece off when the heat was on you," the fan, MigTheTig, tweeted.

In the game Lew didn’t have anything to hand, holding just a Jack and Four against Adelstein’s Eight and Seven. Even though she matched his all-in bet for the river card, she ended up winning the hand with a Jack high card, which amused players at the table.
According to the fan's video, things got tense when the hole cards were revealed. Adelstein proceeded to coldly stare at Lew for a little more than a minute. Lew, who looked uncomfortable, started fiddling with the rings on her right hand, especially a large round red one on her middle finger. Moments later, she places her hand below the table and when she brings it back up, the red stone in the middle is not visible anymore.

To which, Lew responded to the accusations by saying, "I read the man and make a hero call after he shoves on a turned brick card. Get over it. I’ll say it again like I’ve said it before, "I’m not playing nice in the sandbox anymore.” Make it right @GmanPoker Or don’t. #IDGAF I’ve already moved on. I’ll make it back either way."

In another tweet, she added, "Garrett blocked me. Guilty as charged. What an honest man. He cornered me & threatened me. If he has the audacity to give me the death stare ON camera, picture what it’s like OFF camera. I was pulled out of the game & forced to speak to him in a dark hallway. Full details to come."
