WWE star Dylan Postl slams Peter Dinklage as 'too woke' for opposing 'Snow White' remake
Actor and WWE star Dylan Postl has slammed Peter Dinklage’s take on the remake of 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'. Dylan said the 'Game of Thrones' star has gone too far with the “whole woke thing”, and is harming the dwarf community by “taking the roles away”.
Dylan further explained that the remake will give seven real-life people in the dwarf community a chance to star in a movie. He said that getting work for actors in the community is elusive, and such jobs are not only important for them but “life-sustaining”.

Dinklage has described the story of 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' as "f*****g backward", and slammed the archaic portrayal of dwarfs “living in a cage” in the fairy tale remake. The 'GoT' star said Disney made a progressive move by casting Latino actress Rachel Zegler as Snow White, but called the portrayal of the seven dwarfs as regressive. “Have I done nothing to advance the cause,” he joked, referring to the depiction of dwarfs as primitive cave creatures.
Dylan, however, had a different take on things, saying “there's absolutely no issue with how the dwarfs are portrayed in the movie”. He countered Dinklage by saying that the dwarfs lived in a cottage, had jobs, and a lot of gems, as opposed to all just checking one box.
Dylan also took a shot at Dinklage being okay with the representation of dwarfs in 'Elf' and 'Game of Thrones'. “That paycheck cleared just fine,” he taunted. The WWE star later went on Twitter with his views but did not get much support or cheer for his tweet. He tweeted, “I forgot that Snow White and the seven dwarves was based on real life just like that HBO show with the dragons that made a certain “soapbox dwarf” rich was. Anyone know who I need to get ahold of for the casting of this Snow White reboot?”

Looks like somebody is dreadfully unaware that oppression/offensive stereotypes can be hidden in fictional content too! Adding a few fantastical elements to a story does not justify making content at the expense of oppressed people.

American comedian and actor Brad William said “it’s mildly offensive but at the same time I need the work”. He offered a progressive way out, saying, “Make Snow White end up with one of the dwarfs they have jobs, good friends, and a house."
