Pete Davidson's close circle warned him against appearing on 'The Kardashians'
Individuals close to Pete Davidson, the 'Saturday Night Live' star, are urging him against appearing on 'The Kardashians' while Kim Kardashian seems set to have her lover, Davidson, appear on her family's new Hulu series, a source reported.
Davidson's friends are reportedly pointing out to him that his career is already at a pinnacle. "His career has taken off, what does he need this for?" a source mentioned. Davidson is now working on a number of projects, including a Joey Ramone biopic, a rom-com with 'SNL' co-star Colin Jost, and a shoe film dubbed 'American Sole.'

Regardless of the fact that Davidson, 28, has previously dated high-profile women (including Ariana Grande and Kate Beckinsale), his management believes that filming reality TV would destabilize any perception of normality. "Before he met Kim, no one knew what Pete was doing [all the time]," says the source.
Men in the Kardashian world (including Tristan Thompson, Lamar Odom, and Kris Humphries) don't usually fare well on reality TV, according to Davidson's close circle. "It's a sure way to kill the relationship," says the source. "Getting involved in the show decimates every man."
However, according to another source, it isn't true that individuals are advising Davidson not to participate. "He feels no pressure to be in the show. Neither do the people around him. If it happens that he’s on the show, it happens."
'The Kardashians' is the "most-watched series premiere on Hulu in the United States, as well as on Disney+ and Star+ among Star Originals, across all worldwide markets to date," according to a Hulu representative who spoke with Variety. According to reports, cameras were present at the show's Los Angeles premiere earlier this month and filmed Kardashian and Davidson arriving and hanging together.
Kardashian, 41, however, told Variety that she has "not filmed with" Davidson. "I'm not opposed to it. It’s just not what he does," Kim explained at the time. Unsurprisingly, the bond between Kim Kardashian and Davidson has been a major talking topic during the promotion for 'The Kardashians.' Season 1 will disclose how Kim and Davidson met, as well as "who reached out to who and how it happened and all the details that everyone wants to know," according to the Skims creator.
