Is Pete Buttigieg a lookalike of Brad Stevens? Internet wonders if they've ever been 'seen in the same room'

Former Mayor of South Bend, Pete Buttigieg, who was also a Presidential candidate for Elections 2020, is currently trending on Twitter; however, this time, not for his political campaign but because the Internet thinks that he looks a lot like the Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens.

This isn't the first time when their resemblance made news, as last year, during Halloween, while campaigning in New Hampshire, Buttigieg got rid of his tie, picked up a clipboard, and threw on a Boston Celtics hat and he looked eerily similar to Stevens. He also met the Stevens team and gave them a pep talk. Buttigieg also tweeted out one of the photos of himself later, tagging Stevens and the Celtics with the caption “Game on.” Less than three hours later, Stevens’ wife, Tracy Stevens, responded in kind — posting a photo on Twitter of her husband handing out candy in a Buttigieg-Esque white button-down with rolled-up sleeves and a tie.

As reported by Boston Globe, Buttigieg and Stevens themselves have previously acknowledged their resemblance, even without a costume. They also have similar biographies as well, as both of them were raised by college professors in Indiana and both of them garnered national attention for their respective success during their early to mid-30s.

As soon as people started to find similarities between their looks, a number of collages with their pictures started floating in on social media. One user shared a collage with their pictures and said, "Has anyone ever seen Indiana natives Brad Stevens and Pete Buttigieg in the same place at the same time? Hmm.#Celtics #NBAPlayoffs #pete #2020," while another one questioned, "Has anyone ever seen brad stevens and pete buttigieg in the same room shoutout to the like ten of my followers at the middle of that venn diagram."

"Likely late to the party but Brad Stevens looks a lot like Pete Buttigieg & having spent a disproportionate amount of time in Indiana, can 100% guarantee there's a farm somewhere there turning out dudes that look alike. #NBAPlayoffs #TORvsBOS," joked one Internet user. Another one quipped, "There totally could have been a switch when @PeteButtigieg coached Butler. Oh wait, that was Brad Stevens...."

One user wrote, "Am I imagining things or does Brad Stevens look exactly like Pete Buttigieg? #Celtics."
