COLUMBIA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA: A home contractor was caught on camera pushing and punching a woman on June 16 as she confronted him over an alleged $130k debt after he abruptly shut his business in April. The video shows Jeff McCreary, the owner of the now-defunct Vision Home Builders in Pennsylvania, shoving the woman, identified as Amber Bradshaw, in an encounter outside his office.

In the video, McCreary can be seen grabbing Bradshaw's throat and ripping her hat off her head while pushing and punching the woman to the ground. The incident took place when the Columbia County resident knocked on McCreary's office door, which had two signs that said, 'No Trespassing: Keep Out,' and 'Sorry we're closed,' demanding repayment of the debt he owed her. She yelled, "You owe me $130,000! Know you owe me $130,000!" McCreary, along with his wife, is heard shouting back, "Get the hell out of here!"

McCreary's wife, Valerie, can also be seen trying to push the woman away while trying to stop her husband from hurting her. The footage was recorded by PAHomepage. McCreary also attacked two journalists as he demanded they delete the footage while punching the camera.

McCreary had sent an email to customers in April when the business closed, saying it had no choice but to end operations due to the negative financial impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Vision has tried all means we can to continue operating in an increasingly depressing financial situation. The decline in revenue has crippled our ability to sustain home building operations,” he wrote at the time. Several customers, including Bradshaw, have since said that the company owes them tens of thousands of dollars – and in many cases, hundreds of thousands of dollars.

As per DailyMail, after the attack, McCreary turned himself in and is charged with assaulting the woman as well as a camera crew who witnessed and recorded the incident. He is also facing felony charges for scamming another customer out of more than $100,000. A number of clients have also filed complaints with the state attorney general’s office about the closure of Vision Home Builders. Attorney Frank Kepner Jr. is representing the alleged victims of Vision Home Builders as customers continue to demand money saying they have paid McCreary. He said, “I’m interested in helping someone who wants to take action to get their money back.” The initial trial is scheduled for July 13.
