For the couples that choose to start their love story on Lifetime's 'Married At First Sight', they can use all the help they can get, seeing that they are married to an absolute stranger, within minutes of meeting them. Thankfully, these couples have the expert panel to depend on, seeing that they're the ones who played Cupid.
The 'MAFS' expert panel consists of three professionals all of whom specialize in relationships and intimacy. There's Dr Pepper Schwartz, Dr Viviana Coles, and Pastor Calvin Roberson, fondly known as Pastor Cal, a marriage coach and relationship expert.

Who is Pastor Cal?
Apart from being an ordained minister and pastoral counselor, Pastor Roberson or Pastor Cal, as he is popularly called, is also an author, marriage coach, and relationship expert. He has a BA in Theology from Oakwood University, as well as a Masters of Divinity from Andrews University.
He's the lead pastor at Progression
Progression Chruch is a ministry that helps individuals connect with their spirituality. As per the ministry's website – 'Progression Church believes relationships are of utmost importance; hence every ministry focuses on vertical (God) and horizontal (human) interaction.' Pastor Cal started Progression along with his wife Wendy back in 2013.

Practice what you preach applies to Pastor Cal when it comes to both, real and reel life, seeing that he and his wife, Wendy, have been together for over 12 years. The pair even have three children together. As reported by The Sun, Wendy was a practicing nurse for many years. She later left her job in the medical field and helps her husband conduct conferences and workshops, under their franchise – ' Marriage Ain't For Punks'

Apart from being a preacher, TV show host and marriage counselor, Pastor Cal also happens to be an author, having published two books -- 'The Gospel of Nonsense' and 'Marriage Ain't for Punks'. As per Information Cradle, his net worth is estimated to be somewhere between $1 million to $5 million.
Fans of the show have seen the Pastor as the season's voice of reason, along with the other experts, seeing that they all have honest and forthcoming about their advice and opinions regarding a few couples and how they need to approach their marriages.
While there has been backlashing regarding the matchup of Paige Banks and Chris Williams this season, seeing that Banks has been relentlessly humiliated at Williams discretion, Pastor Cal was one of the first to inform Banks that she should walk out of the marriage and priories herself first.
