Paris Hilton is no stranger to falling in and out of love. Just a year after breaking off her engagement to actor Chris Zylka, the heiress found love once again. This time around she found a person who is as well-connected and famous among Hollywood celebrities as herself — Carter Reum.

The pop-culture icon took to her Instagram on Thursday, April 30 to post a picture of the two kissing each other, with the caption “Happy Anniversary my love. My favorite thing to do is make memories with you,” Hilton wrote. “Your kisses are magical. I love being yours and knowing you're mine.”

If Paris is announcing relationship milestones on her social media then her relationship with Reum must be very serious. But who is Reum? He is the co-founder of premium liquor brand VEEV Spirits along with his brother Courtney. The brothers sold the company in 2016 and began focusing on investing in start-ups.

Reum is also an author. He and his brother Courtney penned down a book called ‘Shortcut Your Startup: Speed Up Success with Unconventional Advice from the Trenches’, which documents their journey and experiences as an entrepreneur.

Paris and Reum were first spotted at the Golden Globes after-party. The couple looked so cozy with each other that the rumors of them both being in a relationship started doing the rounds. Neither of them confirmed nor denied about their relationship until Paris finally made it Insta-official.

So how did the two meet? According to sources, the couple was introduced to each other by their mutual friends, although the details of when and how they met have not been shared yet.

Prior to dating Reum, Paris was engaged to Zylka. The couple broke up when Paris felt that “it wasn’t the right fit”. In an interview with ‘The Talk’, the heiress went into details about her breakup with Zylka. She said, “I’m just really having my ‘me time’. I just feel that when I fall in love, I fall in love fast and hard and it was this whirlwind romance…and I thought it was going to be my happy ending, and I just realized after time it wasn’t the right decision.” She added: “But I wish him the best and one day I would love to get married and have children, but for right now I’m just focused on myself and my work.”
