Who would have thought Lady gaga's excellent act in 'House of Gucci' could go unrecognized by the Oscars? As the Oscars 2022 nominations are coming out one by one in the live stream hosted by Leslie Jordan and Tracee Ross, fans are angry when one particular category was announced.

Lady Gaga was not nominated in the 'Actress in a Leading Role' category. This has got the Internet going super mad and the Twitter reactions are immense. Lady Gaga has long been expected to be in the race for Best Actress at the Oscars, because of how she nailed the role of Patricia Reggiani in 'House of Gucci'. The film was was a big box office hit and everyone knew that without Gaga, it would not have been this successful. For such a remarkable performance, Gaga told that she “lived with” that character for nearly a year and a half, embodying the Gucci murderess full-time. Though the real 73-year-old Gucci lady is still alive, Gaga didn’t meet her to embody the character, but rather grew into it by herself.
