LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Things are escalating quickly for Lucy (Krysten Ritter), the protagonist of AMC's science fiction drama 'Orphan Black: Echoes', as she tries her best to uncover the truth about her cloning beginnings.

As the quest becomes more intense, Lucy, together with other printed copies of her Jules Lee (Amanda Fix) and Dr. Eleanor Miller (Rya Kihlstedt), devises a strategy to look into the matter further and zeroes in on Paul Darros (James Hiroyuki Liao) as the prime suspect.

The probe becomes more lethal as the show draws to a conclusion that gunfire in the latest episode may result in a tragic fatality.

From the very beginning of the show, Craig (Jonathan Whittaker) has understood Lucy's pursuit of the truth and offers her unwavering support without any ulterior motives. Craig is shown as a character caught up in the tensions and on the quest for critical information and people related to the central narrative.

In the most recent episode, Lucy and Craig are shown researching a suspicious key that Jules took from Darros's office.

The two are seen in a thrift store, looking for PJ (Dayle McLeod), who has information about this mysterious security token.

In a drastic turn of events, Craig's life is abruptly placed at risk at the end of the episode when a violent battle occurs in the settlement home as Xander (Vinson Tran) visits the place to meet Jules and get the mysterious security token.

However, as the tension escalates, Craig becomes caught in the crossfire. The episode concludes with Craig being injured, and his fate is uncertain as the screen fades away.

What could be Lucy's next course of action after the deadly attack on Craig?

Lucy is now in a vulnerable situation, to say the least, since she is already dealing with strains in her relationship with Jack (Avan Jogia). Now, Craig, who was her closest friend, also ends up fighting for his survival.

It is unclear if Craig will die or survive the wound, but one thing is certain, Lucy will hold herself accountable for putting his life in danger and will raise her guard even more in preparation for a lethal confrontation with Darros.

Lucy may decide to get retribution for Craig's assault, which might result in a high-stakes encounter with those responsible.

Given that Xander was engaged in the assault and is desperate for the key, Lucy may approach him to better understand his motivations and obtain leverage or information.

Lucy is likely to continue investigating the mystery item and its consequences since it seems to be key to the battle.
