Mike Trout was the star when the Los Angeles Angels thumped the Oakland Athletics 10-9 on Monday, August 10. This loss meant the Athletics red-hot winning streak of nine games was broken while the Angels shrugged off their Texas Rangers loss and register a lead. The second and third games slated for Tuesday and Wednesday and the Athletics will look to bounce back. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming encounter between the two sides.

Time

Angels v Athletics is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, 9.40 pm ET/6.40 pm PT.

Venue

The two teams will lock horns at the Angel Stadium, Anaheim, CA.

Where to watch?

NBC Sports California will broadcast the game on both the game days. In addition, MLB Network serves as one of the platforms as well.

How to live stream?

Fans can catch the game on MLB. TV as well as the My Stream App. MLB.TV is still the most preferred app as it comes with a slashed price of $59.99 keeping in mind the shortened season. A complete subscription provides viewers with access to the full regular season, the playoffs and the World Series. Other options that viewers can look for is YouTube TV that gives access to ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, FS1, MLB Network and TBS at $64.99. Hulu and fuboTV are some similar options that can be considered.

Pre-buzz surrounding the game

Mike Trout's performance saw some major stats tumble according to Pro Sports Outlook Twitter. The Angels will be hoping for Trout to continue in the same vein as they look to make good after their defeat to the Rangers last week.

(i) Hit 2-run HR when trailing by 5 & go-ahead HR in the 8th

(ii) Tied for most multi-HR games (20) in Angels history

(iii) 58 HR over his last 162 games played

(iv) Batting .367 w/ 1.373 OPS & 6 HR as a Father (7 GP)

On the other hand, the Athletics will be smarting after their nine-game winning journey cut short by the Angels. Ramon Laureano might have been the man in the middle of the brawl against the Astros, but he's also been the man for the team .278 batting average. Angels will be keeping an eye on him when they clash on Tuesday, August 11.

Who will win?

This one's tricky to answer. If one team having a bit of slip, the other just roared back in style. And considering the 10-9 scorecard, just about anything is possible. However, the wins the Athletics have behind them make the favorites to win this contest.
